Zabaleta or Sagna?

lack of support is the general reason for zabba struggling recently, on Wednesday nasri left zabba to do the whole line himself and moses made the most of it, until milner was moved over to the right, then we saw less of moses
as soon as crouch scored milner was moved back to the left and moses got another couple of runs in
second half the whole team defended and played miles better
I actually thought nasri was really poor v hull and all first half at stoke and more than once asked for him to be taken off but he shut me up 2nd half with a much better performance not only for him but the team. the 10 day break has come at a good time for zabba after the world cup

imagine if navas had come on 2nd half it would have been jesus v moses, a clash with biblical proportions !!!!

There is a reason why Sagna was brought into the team in the first place and that reason is becoming more and more apparent. Sagna will be used against teams like Barcelona, Chelsea etc, where the defense will be up against pacy, tricky, attacking players. Zabaleta has consistently struggled against such players while Sagna is more capable of staying with them.

Zabaleta on the other hand will play most games as we attack and dominate teams in most of the games we play. Zabaleta as I am sure everybody knows is very good attack wise- he makes incredible runs and link up well with the wingers or right sided midfielder. He also has the tendency to drift inwards and into the box and get into goal scoring positions and he is still a reliable and evidently popular member of the squad. He is also good defensively in terms of marking and positioning but on one on ones against tricky wingers, he becomes cringe-worthy to watch.

So expect Zabaleta to play most games while Sagna will play occasionally BUT will be called upon in the very big games e.g Champions league against great dribbling attacking players.

Expect Sagna to start against Barcelona, home and away.

You want someone to translate over 27 minutes worth of video footage? Sounds like quite a big job to me.

He spends the first 5 mins of the interview talking mainly about the weather (predominantly because the guy keeps on asking him about it). He says it's cold and grey every time he wakes up and it gets dark by 3:30 in the winter but after a few years here you get used to it. He said when he lived in Barcelona it was a lot more similar to going up in Argentina with similar weather and similar types of people but he says the Mancunian people are warm and considerate and always show him respect when he's out and about.

That's all I have time for now but I'll try to watch more tonight

Edit: The next part he says it's important when learning English to do it with an native English speaker otherwise you end up talking and asking questions in Spanish when you're having problems. He says Mark Hughes and all of his staff were English... err Pablo! So for that reason he forced himself to learn the language quickly to be able to communicate better with everyone.

Edit: The guy asks him if he dreams in English yet, to which Pablo says no and then they talk about the difficulties of driving on the other side of the road. Said it was difficult at the start but obviously not now.

Now I really do have to go. Good video this though

100% this. Sagna has that extra bit of quality against the bigger teams definitely.
