It's nice to have some confirmation that the players see this pattern. If they didn't, something would be seriously wrong.

I don't doubt that Zinchenko will pay for this with his place in the squad, but hopefully it forces Pep to see that his players hold him accountable.

I don't agree at all. We know that Zinchenko is a smart guy, tactically astute and incredibly hard working. All the players work hard and it's easy to imagine their frustration when Pep turns to them and tells them they're going to be playing a brand new tactic in the CL. They must think here we go again.

It's because the general theme of a related post appears to be that, because Pep had a stinker & didn't square it up with the players afterwards, that mitigates Zinchenko's behaviour.
