Seems the BBC had been pushing for an interview with Zinc for a few days. Obviously it was a tough thing for him to agree to and go through but Lineker was ultra professional and pitched it just right. ZInc spoke brilliantly. You could feel his pain and suffering come through the camera.

I’ve just watched Football Focus (recorded it) and I had to watch the interview twice. The first time I just cried almost all the way through and then I watched again after I’d pulled myself together.
It was powerful but professional. Even Lineker looked emotional.

He looks so young, I know he’s 25/26 but he looks younger and yet he has the gravitas of a true leader. I know he’ll get a great reception tomorrow. I just want to give him a motherly hug.
