What a load of bollocks City will never be buying a 32yr old.

Maicon disagrees.

Txiki disagrees... and also, Maicon's Fee was low (£3M) and was always going to be a support/tactical player behind Zaba and Richards.

Ibrahimovic will cost a major amount and want to command a majorly high wage (same as Aguero and Yaya) and Txiki & Ferran will never agree to giving that to a 32 year old... (Yaya got the high wage bracket cos he's Yaya fookin Toure ... no one like him at his level yet!)

It is official, juventus on Ibra return for next season.

LINK????????????????????

It's perfectly true that Juventus have made serious enquiries regards Zlatan in the last two weeks.

Nonetheless, it has to be recognized that whilst they would have little problem in stumping up the cash ****- say €17.5m to pay the transfer fee, the salary contract of whatever the player and his agent deem commensurate to his standing as a world class footballer, would be a too much of a problem as regards the possibility of destabilizing the club wage structure. That, and the fact that the Swede is still a bogeyman with the Drughi and Vikings who would find it very difficult to accept his return to the club given the nature of his departure from the club in 2006 following the punishment meted out to Juve vis a vis the calciopoli scandal. Like Emerson, Zambrotta, Cannavaro and others who left at that time he is considered a mercenary who turned his back on the club.

Despite his age is clearly a tremendous athlete, several levels above Edin Dzeko, but I suspect that Milan will be his most likely destination.

Dzeko is, oddly enough, now firmly on the radar of the Bianconeri with new other potential new faces as they seek to replace Quagliarella, Matri, Immobile and Giaccherini with upgrades.

Currently they are working on signing Higuain and Dzeko to partner Llorente wef 8/2013.

****

The club will need to fund purchases from sales. Possibililities are the aforementioned Quagliarella, Matri and Mirko Vucinic. Vicinic is a possible arrival at Old Trafford. As is the box to boxer Claudio Marchisio. They would cost circa €15m and €35m respectively.

City would benefit from Zlatan's arrival. he would be a significant upgrade on Dzeko. But it would be a two to three year association at most.

Better still would be to put all of our chips on Edinson Cavani and utilize what spare cash we have in trying to get Lavezzi from PSG.

You could the imagine a 4 - 4 - 1 - 1 system that could live with the other two main threats in the Premier Lge.
