The truth is, if he hadn't rocked up at the Rags with a media caravan larger than Donald Trumps and had it not joined up with the Rag caravan this fucker would have faded into obscurity and retirement faster than Salah going down for a penalty. :-)

You are barking up the wrong tree here, mate. I'm a far from a Zlatan supporter as a Swede can be.
And yes, it's his own view, it's a self biography, giving his view of his career.
Zlatan is married to a PR strategist and has worked on his retirement plans since PSG. He's constantly dropping bombs and using media as an outlet to build his brand and promote his products. He's had a very smart strategy, where one trick is getting paid in shares in smaller, growing companies in exchange for him letting them use his name, and him helping them with commercial exposure . Far from all of them have gone well, but one example of this strategy paying off is Vitamin Well (sorry for the Swedish, but they have gone from £20m to £120m turnover since he started doing his thing) where he owns 10% (via his holding company Unknown AB) since 2015. He's using his name to launch several different brands, via different companies, in order to create long term, lasting revenue streams while his name is still worth a lot.
Was his statue dragged through the streets, with locals hitting it with shoes?
