To say that is to completely misunderstand why people use quotes. Importance has nothing to do with it. It's because others often say things better than we could.

"But then I wouldn't imagine you'd understand such things being a Tory supporter". Nico1

I don't vote Tory fella so unlucky with the guess, maybe rather than repeating a celeb you could try expressing your own thoughts a tad better.

If you sympathise with the IRA you support them, noticed you didn't mention the other points. So I will ask again how many ukip supporter or brexiters have been charged with racism
How many are - or is this just another 'fact' you have to hand ?

It goes through some of the things he's said and done and been party to in reference to his support/sympathy for "the cause".
In danger of derailing the thread, but I think there is a very big difference between support and sympathy - particularly for such an emotive and contentious cause. Its dangerous and misrepresentative to regard the terms as interchangeable (IMHO)

Supported dialogue with the IRA, not them in a sense of agreeing with their actions, and believes that one day the prospect that Ireland will unify is an ok thing. Bit different than suporting them and nowt wrong with the idea of a united Ireland if it is the will of it's people.
This is the man that would get rid of our nuclear arms, - so would many and a nuclear free world is though not practical at present not a bad thing
Never mentioned destroying and shrinking to nothing our armed forces, but admits to being a pacifist.
Their is no proof of this anti semitic tag, pro palestinain and a critic of Isreal, that is not the same thing. Their is those who have been quoted to say heis and those quoted who say he isn't.
True as an internationalist he would welcome all to Britain no questions asked, and that's been as good and as bad for the country in different measures.
Abbott, pure racist, what a ridiculous statement, a gobshite yes who talks some right bollocks.

The statement is purely on all things fed to the public by the right wing media, I suggest any claiming to be a Labour voter not willing to vote for them remember you are not voting for corbyn, you are voting for a party, we don't have presidents here.

Sick of hearing, I wouldn't vote tory, but I will vote for may?? That's fucking crazy, the leader, though important is not the reason to vote one way of the other, parliamentry politics is about voting for a set of ideals held by a colective set of members in a party not a person.

Anyway it's.democracy vote for who you like, we are probably fucked either way

In 2012 Abbott had to release a public apology after her racist tweet "white people like to divide and rule".

She always lumps crap together as she does not have a brain cell in her head. She also claimed on question time that anyone who voted Brexit is racist.

Can you imagine her in actual office? She would get one of the top jobs in the govt. imagine that for one moment when you vote labour.

I never understand these posts. Any particular reason why anyone should put more importance on what Charlie Brooker says as opposed to Irene from the local shop. Do you need celebs to reaffirm your view? If Russell Brand asked you jump in a fire would you?
Last week the new jungle camp in France burned to the ground after riots. Nothing on the news as Lilly Allen was on holiday at the time.

Cheers still waiting for an answer by the way

I presume you're not going to go down the ignore because I was wrong route, I was expecting at least a deflection and even hoped for an acceptance which shows good character.
You were just parroting cliches (again) about ukip /brexiteers being racist. Your point therefore has no value and isn't worth the bother. If that's how you think then fair enough.

I don't vote Tory fella so unlucky with the guess, maybe rather than repeating a celeb you could try expressing your own thoughts a tad better.
Yeah, don't know why people keep quoting Shakespeare when, as you say, with a little effort then could come up with something better themselves. Quotes eh? For the lazy of mind. Probably lazy of body too which is another reason folk vote conservative. They think benefit scrounges are the real reason this country has gone to the dogs. You're not a Tory though, so "all's well that ends well". S
