£15m for Boateng?

Who ever identifies full backs can the club please tell them to jog on. Kolarov although improved and Boateng have been utter wank. Boateng just looks fucking lost on a football pitch. How did he convince people he could play full back

Dunno but he obviously must be very convincing cos he played there for Germany in the world cup...

Boateng is a quality centre half who will prove to be an excellent signing. He really hasn't had the opportunity to get going this season having sustained an injury after the WC and missing prseason then being played intermittently across the backline while picking up various niggles.

The sporadic appearances he has made at centrehalf have been encouraging and i would love to see him develop next season.

+ 1. Saw him play a couple of times for Hamburg and he looked a beast. He's another kid settling into a new league and country and people are already slating the lad (who obviously must be shit as he's an established German international at 22 years of age and that small time club bayern munich want him). I think he's a potentially very classy centre half and we should give him plenty more time yet

Never had a run in his real posistion in central defence.

He has stated himself that he isn't a natural fullback so i don't understand why people keep insisting thats his position.

I think we signed him to eventually play alongside Kompany. Whether or not the coaching staff have seen enough to convince them otherwise I don't know.

Shame he's not had a chance.

Did Boateng not play at LB at the 2010 WC??? Quite sure he did and looked pretty decent. Think were ok on the Fullback side,CB wise were alrightish, probably draught in another one. Vicnent is a dead cert and Lescott has been good, Kolo i'm not sure whats gonna happen to him.

I would sell him if Mancini doesn't think he has a future at CB. He's too good to be a 3rd string RB

They also say Alexis Sanchez's agent has held talks with Real Madrid (no idea where he'd play for them, they have so many attacking options already!) and Fenerbahce want Adebayor.

Real Madrid are like a Spanish spurs, they just buy players without thinking where to play them

Juve are also interested in Ade, more likely to go there than Fenerbache
