Is that the same Michael Owen who had a 17 year career but only totalled 362 games? That's 21 games per season. He scored 163 goals in that time and he NEVER scored 20 goals in a season. His opinion and inane punditry is virtually worthless and should just be ignored. As for Leicester players not good enough for the rags, I can only think of Drinkwater who was there from 18-22 but never played for them. More proof, if proof were needed, of his ramblings.So Owen has just said that he played with some of the Leicester players in his United days, and they couldn't get in the reserve team.
Yet they're Premier League champions.
couldn't get in the rags reserves, yet are PL champions.
and yet people want to continue looking at these statements in isolation.
