Not redeveloping Maine Road.
It was shit hole that place had its day the Etihad was a no brainer in so many ways. Had we still been there doubt we would be anywhere near where we are now. Sheikh Monsour would have probably bought Newcastle instead.
Not redeveloping Maine Road.
Also Kiddo & Law were good.
John Bond buying his son Kevin , when Nicky Reid was being talked about playing for England .
GUILTY!!.. NAUGHTY!! ;-)we are just mad for it manchester city is in your blood we love it good or bad its like the line out of the song eton rifles (Though some of the lads said they'll be back next week) manchester city is like waiting for a bus you have to stand alone for hours and hours then 3 or 4 all come at once
I think ball was thinking his legs had gone as he only played 3 games out of about 11 or 12 at the start of the 95/96 season, there was no whispers of him being unhappy but in hindsight it might have had legs as we got him from pompey and he returned to pompey. I think he did his cruciate towards the end of the season and retired not long after, he was 34 at the time though.
But creaney was awful, I always remember when we got shut of him he turned round and his first words was "not many strikers can say they scored at st James park, Highbury and elland road..."
I still cringe at the lame comment even today.
