There are indeed I have met many over many fantastic climbing and walking trips in the highlands. Then there are people like Sturgeon and her ilk, the phychophantic drum beaters like you magic pole who are filled with hate and bile.

I am not filled with bile or hate. I'm a lovely fella. Ask anybody. :)

If you read it properly you'll see some bits about reversing tax cuts and getting companies to pay what they owe in tax. That might be a clue. Plus as debt is still rising yet we're getting less and less for that, it may as well rise and we get some benefit from it.

but saying they will 'reverse' or 'end' certain things isn't really what I meant. I can say that, but are there any numbers and mechanisms to go with it?

Can I say, I am not overly negative about some of the Labour polices as I think what the Tories have done to the poor, unemployed, health service etc is appalling. But, Miliband had similar ideas, yet got nowhere.

I don't think the country does ot care about these issues, I just think they cannot see Corbyn as a leader of a country as he cannot get his message across.

I see Jezza is reverting to type and it's the NHS and 'Inequality' that's going to be his springboard to No. 10.
The NHS is done to death every election, and yes, you've guessed it, he's going to throw yet more money at it.
What the fuck is this 'Inequality? We have equal pay acts going back decades, and racial discrimination is outlawed,
Ask anyone on the street about what their concerns are and I doubt inequality will be the first thing on their list,
yet these Islington socialists believe it to be a pressing concern for everyone.

Maybe he means we should all be paid an MPs salary, expenses and perks?

What socialist government was this?
I'm only 48, so it might have been before I was born, & not covered in the history I studied.

All costed, and if you look at it, a lot of the revenue raising streams are in the policies (stop funding the rail networks for France, Holland, Germany etc, reverse the monies going out of the NHS into private (often offshore accounts), reverse corporation tax cuts, ban firms abusing tax loopholes from tendering for government contracts (G4s, Serco, ATOS, Virgin, etc etc), building 100,000 council house (reduce unemployment in the building and supply trades, cut the cost of HB, youth training schemes to give hope to our next generation and reduce mental health problems).
The policies Labour have are good or great for the vast majority of the electorate, but, as the established elite would suffer, you won't hear this in the MSM, which is why I will be interested to see how many of the 300,000+ new members of the Labour party are out on the streets and knocking doors to get the message out there.
IF they can turn this election into a "state of the nation" debate rather than solely on Brexit (of which we can't be told the plans as it would weaken the bargaining position with the EU), then it might not be the tory landslide many predict.

What a load of twaddle, what has been costed? So Labour have conducted a HMRC type investigation into the tax affairs of every single company? They have also costed every single penny from every single governmental contract etc etc.

All Labour have done is made a few sweeping statements all of which will be lucky to raise £1bn let alone £500bn.

She'll be on the telly in debates with selected members of the public, that make up the views of the current UK electorate, answering their questions so she will be challenged with proper questions.
Lets face it, debate with umpteen party leaders are effing useless anyway - Kindergarten politics.

The in depth interviews with the likes of Neil and Paxman are much more revealing than the debates. That's when they really get under the skin of the party leaders and make them squirm.

Corbyn on BBC2 now and he's about as convincing as haemorrhoids on a hobby Horse.

I thought it was very entertaining. I particularly enjoyed it when he was praised for "answering the questions" (Whoop! Whoop!) and then completely ignored the next question on whether Labour would call for a 2nd EU referendum.
