Liverpool Thread - 2023/24

Not only mourinho though was it? Roma and Fiorentina loaned him, not big money moves, not really in the bracket of Benzema etc... Klopp plucked him out of obscurity and then he became famous because he plays and wins for lfc. That's the impression i got anyway.
roma loaned him and bought him. He did good numbers in both seasons. Liverpool then paid a record fee for him. He was always seriously good. Chelsea sold salah (15m), de bruyne (18m) and musiala (200k)

The Scousers will be our biggest threat this season. Starting to click unfortunately.

With Henderson and Milner gone, Gerrard retired and Van Dijk suspended, that's probably the first match in years the dippers have been able to play without some geriatric **** shouting nonsense at them and randomly pointing everywhere, seemed to suit them.

Just watched the highlights against Fulham

The stadium is practically empty

Seas of blue seat in all corners of the ground

Come on, everyone knows how bad that ring road is on a Saturday afternoon

Seems like we just might have a full house against the bus wreckers then :)

To be fair mate we haven't anywhere clicked yet and we are top of the tree with maximum points. That scouse defence looks iffy imho.

They have improved the midfield significantly, and McAllister and Sblozai are goal threats. They would challenge despite their poor defense. I wish we would have gone for McAllister/Sbolzai instead of Nunes.
