All the petition can do is give amnesty something to grab the attention of high level diplomats or some mp after a 'cause' to chase. That's the way it works, but sadly probably to slow a process to help these girls. I personally have my doubts about the professionalism and integrity of any male judiciary that sentences atractive young females to rape as a punishment for other peoples crimes. I wonder if the judge/jury will by any chance be intending to carry out the sentence themselves?
