Txiki Begiristain

That's the Dippers past the 50 goal mark, taking their chances, unfortunately for them the leaky defence means they won't challenge.

That'll be the dippers who have conceded he same as us, but are 3 points and goal difference ahead of us because they score their goals?

The dippers who score goals and are in 3rd, not 5th?

Those dippers?

The one and only dippers. You don't do irony well do you mate, LOL.

Guardiola has taken control of Manchester City's recruitment strategy after too much wasted money in the last four years. [@MullockSMirror]

Txiki Begiristain continues to handle negotiations, but there has been a major shift in the way City handle deals. [@MullockSMirror]

The final decision always belonged to Txiki before, but now absolutely nothing is done until it has been decided by Pep. [@MullockSMirror]

Think that's one way of writing it.

The other is that Txiki was merely trying to buy for Pep and now he's here of course he'll get final say.

Doesn't sound anything different to how it was 18 months ago, 2bh.

Pep: "We realise that we have a lot over 30. For example the full-backs but they are important and we cannot change everything in 1 season."

Pep: "Of course sooner or later the process is going to change but it cannot be possible to change that overnight."

Pep: "First because every player costs £45-50m, but it’s also not good to change seven, eight, nine players for seven, eight, nine players."

Arent pressing anymore ?

No we weren't, and Pep said as much himself, he said that we stopped pressing high because it's not effective when no one plays out from the back.

He's brought it back, from when I said that weeks ago, but it's deeper than st the start of the season.

Yeah I think it's pretty obvious wasn't it? The club didn't trust Pellegrini enough to give him complete free reign over transfers, but they do have that level of trust for Pep.

Can't say I'd be sad at all if it's true that Pep will be taking the reigns transfer wise. Txiki has had some hits and some wild misses, but I'd much rather trust the fella that works with the players everyday to be the one who recruits them.
