What one thing does manchester need to make it even greater?

I left Manchester in '92 to live in Oz
Brought my 12 year old son in Apr/May to see City, he remarked about how much litter, filthy grimy buildings , beggars, druggies, scumbags, alkies were hassling people from Picc station ,on the Metrolink there was a fight, not the best impression for a city
that considers itself to be Britains second City
Needs a fuckin good scrubbing

True. By the same token I've walked around the centres of Darwin, Alice Springs, Broome etc and seen plenty of Aboriginals lying around drinking/sniffing etc

Build a world class leisure complex (Casino, Cinema, Hotels, Restaurants etc) on the retail park on Great Ancoats street.

Recall they've been mentioning it for a while but nothings ever materialised. Think only JD Sports have a shop open there now.

Toys r US as well. 10.5 Acres that site in total - huge potential.

Exactly, crazy to think that it hasn't been developed yet!

Buildings are going up left right and centre (mainly NOMA) near my apartment block and a new Marriot being built too. Can't see many of the car parks round there last too long either.

People would buy products from Currys or whichever electrical store was on there and the scrotes would watch them load it into the car ,wait for the car to get stuck in the traffic and that's when they made their move, bricking the car and legging it with the telly

First thing Manchester needs to do is sort out Piccadilly Gardens and build more hotels around the city centre

Council very much have eyes on it - it will happen sooner or later.

i understand it is being looked into to improve the Customer experience i(n the Tunnel Club only i am afraid)
Typical. I'm not paying an extra £500 for that when I can get the product by buying two bottles of WKD blue in my local.
