Complaint to BBC regarding Pete the Badge

For what it is worth I have written a complaint also. It does mention if an issue is significantly commented upon it would be placed on the website. Either way I think its worth taking the trouble to write. We have 42 pages on this thread with regards the matter but posting on here will make little difference.

I know we have some fun at your expense but nice one. You are of course right that the more complaints they get, the better the exposure.

It is well known that they are, why did this take so long?

Last season the FA Cup thing with Chelsea, wanting a premier league game but getting a Pontin's / Floodlit league game after insisting on the slot and then bemoaning City. After what Alan Sugar did to help take top flight football off the common man they give him his own show. Then Lineker disingenuously complains the FA made them show Wigan, when they picked the Wigan match conditionally if Palace beat Bolton, but the FA did not want them to mess fans about at the last minute.

When they show 'highlights' they spend more time talking about inarticulately about the game then showing it, and seem more interested in tittle tattle or fake 'banter' than the football. The BBC should just give up on football, like most have given up on the BBC.

As yet has anyone considered raising this with the Equality Commission on his behalf; as at the very least it is harrassment. They would then have to consider the European Convention on Human Rights and, specifically, Articles 8 (privacy) and 14 (non-discriminatory).

Should certainly wake the trustees up over at the BBC and may even bring about a storm swell to cleanse the offending department. Just think how certain other media and press outlets might react.

I'm not calling for Vicky Kloss to be fired or anything but I do question if she is a City fan or even a football fan sometimes the way things that are annoying the fanbase are ignored, the club should employ someone under her who is a City fan in the PR game(there will be some). They would be onto stuff before the fans have had a chance to react much to it and probably be pissed off enough to say what needs to be said and get the right reactions from the press(a little respect) passion for the club is no bad thing and if the media don't like it they can stick it.

They could employ me to give the fuckers a slap on their way in, just think of the job satisfaction

Years ago that guy from Portsmouth with the top hat and all the tattoos was regularly featured in an almost admiring way.
I cannot imagine the shameless BBC doing. a job on him but of course that guy was not a Blue and as a successfult art businessman not such an essy target

I know neveryone will obviously not be a fan but Corbyn just accused the BBC of running fake news live on air after they intensely questioned him on a report he'd set a resignation date.

The BBC guy was acting as if it was factual information and tried to carry it on even after it was denied and accused of being fake news.

Broadcaster in making up news shock. Happens all the time and then they publish an apology tucked away somewhere on page 34 or on air at three in the morning when nobody is watching. Mind you didn't Corbyn go on about Trump being misogynistic, threatening to build walls etc as if it was the worst thing on earth yet he classes members of Hamas and Hezbollah as friends! How odd

Same bloke came to mind yesterday, Is he still out and about ?

Off topic but at his height there was a Pro-Am indoor 6-a-side compy on Sky.

I can only remember two things Nigel Bond playing for us at the hat guy coming on as a sub with seconds of Portsmouth's last game where a win would have put them through to the next round and he missed an open goal. He missed and was properly gutted.

I'm just fucking sick of it. I'm currently in the process of bombarding them with complaints about everything I can think of.

I've just submitted my fourth one this week

Vicky is definitely a City fan and was so before getting her "dream job" at City. Remember that she has to following the policy set out by the board, I would bet she would love to carry out some of the ideas presented on here

I saw the tweet of pete the badge the other night, only had the "I wonder who he is supporting" caption on, have only just realised from this thread what they did on FB and to say it has made my blood boil is a bit of an understatement.

Maybe I let my anger out a bit much in my complaint:

Your fawning over everything related to the team from Trafford and ridicule over everything Manchester City has gone TOO FAR this time. You have been nothing short of disgraceful and anything but impartial since 2008 but you are now openly insulting individual City fans. Showing a picture of a well known City fan, who has learning difficulties, calling him Bertie, a well known offensive term from fans of the club from Trafford, is quite frankly disgusting, condescending and I consider this bullying. This is nothing less than I would expect from an organisation that employs and protects paedophiles. Would you post a picture of a fan of the team from Trafford and ridicule them with the caption Munich underneath? I find it as likely as you openly helping the police with Yewtree. I know you will do nothing with this complaint, dismiss it without a second thought, and continue to act like a teenage girl in the VIP area of their favourite boy band towards the Trafford team. I just wanted to let you know the level of distain and anger you have driven up from fans of Manchester City for eight years, and this is now reaching a level where we are considering meeting you, en-masse and in person, to discuss this embarrassingly biased coverage. We know where you are based, just over the way from the Trafford team surprisingly enough. so let us know when convenient, or better when is not convenient, and we will come down. Yours absolutely and utterly disgusted, MCFC
