Nice to see other players getting mentioned for missing chances other than Aguero, you can add DS and KDB to that list aswell and its why Im not convinced that Jesus replacing Sergio is the answer to this big problem we have in front of goal, GJ for all his obvious quality shouldn't be burdened with scoring all the goals for City next season, for one hes unproven in this league.

the answer is to play both Sergio and Jesus for me and not rely on one out and out goalscorer in the team-if we sell Sergio and GJ gets injured or has a dry spell what then?

Or replace Sergio with Sanchez, and have 2 big goalscorers in the front 3 instead of 1

We go with Sane-Sanchez-Sterling

Then Sanchez can play no9 as well, did that at Barca under Pep.

Currently if Sane is tired or Sterling is tired we have to rely on Navas as a winger. That is a fact. We don't have adequate depth in our attack. Another fact.

You are a really great poster. You don't HAVE to be a dick though.
Next season we'll have Sterling and Sané, with Jesus and Roberts as options out wide without signing anyone. Our options at full back on the other hand will be Maffeo and half of Kolarov as first choice with Maffeo and the same half of Kolarov as back up.

Stop it with your half of Kolarov. You are frightening me.

I'd gladly take Aguero off your hands, if you want to offload him to make room for Alexis. If not, I'd gladly just take Alexis instead and let you keep Aguero. Alternatively, I would love both of them at Chelsea :)

Aguero only scores a goal a game these days, are you sure?

I don't know if Sanchez is true or not, but if it is, it could be as much a tactical signing, stopping Arse, rags etc from having him, as us desperately needing him.

We have options such as Jesus, Unal & should not forget Iheanacho. If those 3 are at City next season I'd be surprised if they don't have a shedload of goals by the end of it & we have kids like Sancho on the fringe, for wide positions. Not forgetting Moreno or Zinchenko.

We took players off Arsenal & prevented others going to the swamp in the past, & prior to that, weakened Everton, Villa etc when we were chasing top 6 & it worked in all cases. Strengthened us, weakened them.

This could be a similar idea.

I think most of those mentioned will be loaned out again or sold. I think Kelechi will be gone for a tidy profit.

Very difficult tactic to pull off in the premier league these days and it's dependent on getting the player for a knock down price making it harder for the selling club to fund a replacement.

Would love Sanchez at the club, but I echo the sentiments of others when I'm not sure if it should be at the expense of Sergio. Would love to see them compliment each other with the younger lads pushing them all the way for game time. Theres room for Sterling, Sane, Jesus, Sergio and Sanchez in that forward line if you plan on fighting on all 4 fronts next season.

Knowing our luck we'll have a couple of long term injuries in the squad next year anyway, we always do.

agreed, squad depth has been a big problem for us this season, quality wise anyway
