City Fans Leaving Early/Empty seats

they didnt leave early enough car park still queuing well after city square closed and short walk get a grip people i need to drive straight home ;)

For some reason last night, I was portraying Captain Slackbladder later on in the match. I went down the steps in 304 on 78 minutes to see 2 lads walking to the spiral. I shouted "it's not even 80 minutes yet", but they carried on walking. A derby match and they were leaving early?

As you quite rightly said. "madness I tell thee".

I then witnessed giddy rags, jumping up and down, waving their arms as they capered from leg to leg in some form of triumphant drunken dance.....it was a nil nil draw and they got absolutely fucking battered for 85 minutes.

*shakes head and go's for a lie down

I left at the final whistle and didn't even have to queue for the tram.Straight through and on to a tram.
First time ever, usually wait behind the payment booths.
So there couldn't be as many as usual left last night.

same here. i left at the final whistle, clapped the players off and there was no queues for the tram. i got to picaddily that early i had to wait 40 minutes for the next train. if it was like that every game it would be great.

Guilty..... Had to leave on 80 mins, to run 15 minutes to my car to avoid the traffic for my 2hr + journey back to Carlisle, to get in bed for midnightish to be up at 5am for work.

Apologies ;-)

HHSM has got your number.

You be abducted, buried in the desert up to your neck and Robertsons jam put on your 'ead.
What flavour do you prefer ?

One of several quaint customs out 'ere don't you think ?

have always parked on St Brigids and it takes at least 20 minutes to get away from the car park , did leave once before injury time and it took the same amount of time to get off the car park , so we now usually go in the Summerbee bar or Mary D's after a game to celebrate/moan about the match and let the queues die down , (i think you have an hour after the game to get off the car park) ,its then a 50 mile journey home . Always treat a match as a day or evening out and not rushing about like a blue arsed fly trying to get home so we always stay to the end , no doubt others have busy hectic lives and the half hour they may save by not supporting our team to the end is important to them

Posting in what is sure to be a popular thread in the next 24-48 hours :-)

To be honest there is a lot of empty seats and they were empty at 80mins, why are so many leaving so early we are playing well.

So many empty seats for a Saturday game is ridiculous. As is leaving on 80 minutes when you're team is 4 up, glad you all missed the 5th!
Stay and applaud the team, I did and I'm halfway back to town now. Didn't get caught in a mad rush or anything

It's actually quicker to get away on foot if you stay till the end now, glad we scored at the end and those who left missed it.
