It's Quiet - a new dawn

The common denomination in all of our senior player loan deals is that we have offered wages they didn't deserve and would not be matched by any other clubs. Just as it was in the Wayne Bridge days, it's a mistake of our own making.

Very true mate, bloody annoying though that we get rinsed for fees yet loan class players out for nothing?? Even a £2m loan fee or something would at least make our balance sheet look a little bit better

Yup. Just wonder if it was Pep's idea? As soon as Sane started showing his quality. You knew Nolito's time was up. He was way too slow for a winger in Pep's system. But it was evident before he was signed.
I think he was brought in as a stop gap in the first instance whilst Sane settled in. It didn't help him being a tad hot headed though, the final nail was Sane having such a good start to the PL

Why loan out a 30 year old? When he comes back he will be 31 and nobody will want to pay anything for him.
Sell him now while we can.
Surely someone would pay us 8m for him

It was always going to be the case. I found out recently that he was on a three year contract and not two. That's the worst part.
