Yeah, all but confirmed apparently. They've been getting their business done pretty early, Toprak from Leverkusen signed for them (as of summer) just after the January window closed too.

Even with them getting Dahoud I still can't see us stealing Weigl unfortunately. Gotze will most likely be out of action for a while and that leaves them with Castro, Kagawa and Guerrero as their midfielders. Would've loved to see Weigl replace Toure this summer though, the lad would thrive under Pep and would give us a pivot for the next decade.

Broken ankle after an awkward challenge/landing according to the media, sounds similar to Laporte's injury at the end of last season. Hopefully the lad makes as good a recovery, always awful to see a footballer get badly injured but even worse when it's a youngster with so much potential.

I've also written that somewhere and I completely agree with you.mHe has the same build as Busquets. I've seen him ping the ball to players on the wing. Call me crazy but I can see him playing that position. Obviously needs to be coached and train on his passing to have a smidge of the passing ability Busquets possesses. Nonetheless, I believe he can do a job there.

Better at taking a stride forward and carrying the ball than he is at passing, more of a Pique than a Busquets.

TransferMarkt has him out injured until the 18th of September, plus him getting back into the swing of things so more so October-November times I would imagine.
