The mood here is febrile - chill out

Best to enjoy the sun and see what transpires in the fullness of time

Just a thought - what's City's Plan B if they fail to get Sanchez?
Enjoy the sun? You really are trolling now. Its been pissing down in Manchester all day and will be tomorrow according to the bbc

Pffff. Why do we need Sanchez when we've got Wilfried Bony?
Quite right, as things currently stand both of them will be doing fuck all for us next season.

A psychologist would have a field day with this thread, 800 pages of "great signing...", "wins us the league...", "make it happen Txiki..." then Rosler says it's a done deal and the same posters are like "bullshit...", "no way is it done...", "it'll never happen that quickly...". ;-)

If Sanchez signs for half the price the Belgian Bony signed for the rags which one will get the most shit?

Answers on a postcard to the usual address....

Not bothered personally. What Mr Sleeping Bag wants and what those balancing the books at the Library want are likely to prove very different things

Kroenke has no compunction about pissing off whole cities if it makes him cash. I doubt he really cares what Arsenal fans really think as long as the season tickets sell out.

That facebook post is not an accident is it :-D someone in media has been told by someone with an expensive tie to do that. Discretion to do that at this point in time with the dynamics in play have come from above, someone would get sacked otherwise. The selling club could easily feel we have rubbed their nose in it and do what Saints did to Liverpool over VVD. Somehow such actions at our club i think would not be tolerated, it would at least have been taken down.

Arsenal TV will see that F/b post as indicating a swap deal! ;-)

Latest post on AM

'During the press conference in Australia Arséne Wenger said that we'll see what happens with Alexis Sanchez this summer but added that he expect the player to honour his current contract. Wenger also said that Sanchez, as far as the manager is concerned, wont be sold to a rival this summer.'

Haven't seen the video but that doesn't seem like a good omen if you're expecting him to stay.

"Nobody knows today if Sanchez will be in the final year of his contract next season because he can as well extend his contract with us at the start of the season or during the season.

"It's not necessarily the last year of his contract at Arsenal Football Club."

If Wenger knew he was signing a new contract for sure he would not have said that in my opinion.
