Nothing about this on ssn would have thought it would be big news with City being 'snubbed'
Its not another kdb situation is it

Let's not turn into rags, we wanted him , seems like we took his word & relaxed, he played us & we should know better but to let all our fullbacks leave without nailed on replacements is bad management .

Not really sure about that. The fullbacks we had were so poor that there was no point in even keeping them in the squad.

He was a free agent cause Juve let him out of his contract a year early the reason being if we are to believe was to join up with his old mentor Pep as he loves him and has always wanted to play in Emgland and the wonderful English fans and he plays football for the love of it not the money, now if thats the case the man is an absolute cunnt of the highest order for what he's done.

Did not say he was not the noun you used merely that he has obviously been influenced since then by the wife, money, Paris etc.. Maybe he even said similar things to PSG in which case he is definitely deserving of your accolade.

I hope letting the fullbacks go doesn't turn out to be a really dumb decision.
it already is. we obviously won't start season without RB but everyone knows we are desperate for RB now and it will cost us at least 10 million.

I agree....Monaco and Spurs will be laughing!

Don't want to feed the panic but there are a lot of knock-on effects if this goes south. Average price of four full-backs shoots way up

Good chance that a move for another right-back will affect the centre-back pursuit. Not sure money stretches that far, barring big sales

That guy talks such shit

We came 3rd with poor fullbacks , we currently have Kolarov available which puts us in a much worse position , bad management.
Things need to happen quickly on this front .

I'm not bothered if we miss out on Alves, as given his age he was never a long term solution. He struck me as someone it would have been nice to have, but could also complicate things given that him and Walker (assuming he signs) would both expect significant game time.

More annoying than missing out on Alves is the situation we find ourselves in with selling clubs (Tottenham for example). Given that we currently have no first team full backs we are in a very poor negotiating position. It will be interesting to see what the club does next, signing Mendy would definitely be help but it's looking like the Right Back slot is going to be our real problem area this summer.
