Put these in order of what they have contributed to City: Nasri, Yaya, Bravo, Aguero.

Then review your last 1,000 posts.
that's one of those posts where you chuckle upon first reading it,
then you keep chuckling as the subtlety of it tickles you all the more,
until finally you are laughing at yourself for chuckling so much.

Should be sold and will be, bottled it last summer because of the competition for places.

Two foreign spots available, if we get Sanchez that takes up one, meaning one spot for a centre back who can cover the left or do we save some money and keep Mangala. The other spot if we dont go for a CB could go to Mbappe or Nasri. Suppose depends on who wants either Nasri or Mangala or both. Whatever the final squad it will comply with all the requirements of CL and prem. Oh the joys of being a blue these days. (rubs hands in glee).

I don't quite get why you and some others ignore the fact that there IS a spot for Nasri and even Mangala suggesting they woudln't play CL.
Not long ago the huge majority on here preferred PL over CL. Why shouldn't it be enough honour for Nasri to shine in domestic comps
knowing there will be loads of rotation anyway?

Pep was here last year and left Yaya out of CL squad.
Could somebody please give me some good reason why - under the same manager - it would be impossible leaving Nasri out of the CL squad?

I also did put out Gundogan might not be ready for the CL squad. Nasri could take that spot.
That's why I think there would be several options to integrate Nasri - IF Pep wanted to... and nobody knows yet.

Rules for CL and prem the same as for foreign spots allowed, 17, 15 spots taken, Sanchez takes one well I am sure you can do the maths the same as I can.

Yes I do but I did my studies about the rules. ;-)
No limit for U21 players in FA matches. Jesus and Sané. They do not take a foreign spot in domestic games.
Nice innit?

And how exactly does Samir detract from overall team chemistry - facts please rather than your perception
I didn't say he detracts. I said it isn't madness for a manager to let a high performer go if he/she believes he detracts. I'm not in the locker room or on the training pitch or on the team plane. I have no way of knowing.

Do any of us really think that Pep would play him if he was in any way a problem? No chance. I think he fits into Peps style perfectly and wished he had stayed last season. I still hope he does, especially if the alternative is to loan him out.

Yeah, I'm in total agreement that he has the perfect skill set to be a Pep player and I also agree Pep won't play him or keep him if he's a problem. I was just shooting down the logic of a much earlier poster saying that players can be too talented to be left out of a team. I'm still scarred by Rodney Marsh ruining a great City team with his "uber" talent.

Although personally dubious about Nasri sustaining 100% input over a season, this is exactly the sort of decision Pep is paid to make. Only he knows the exact state of affairs regarding Nasri's current state of mind, willingness to be a squad member, his fitness, his effect on team mates and the degree of interest from other clubs.

If he were to retain him and turn him round, that would be impressive asset management. If he decides it's not worth the trouble, fair enough and "au revoir Samir".

How old is Nasri these days? I thought he was excellent against Spurs. i dont really understand the bloke, he shows flahses of brilliance then goes way off the boil

No, "adieu Samir" would be the better send off.
