I don't quite get why you and some others ignore the fact that there IS a spot for Nasri and even Mangala suggesting they woudln't play CL.
Not long ago the huge majority on here preferred PL over CL. Why shouldn't it be enough honour for Nasri to shine in domestic comps
knowing there will be loads of rotation anyway?

Pep was here last year and left Yaya out of CL squad.
Could somebody please give me some good reason why - under the same manager - it would be impossible leaving Nasri out of the CL squad?

I also did put out Gundogan might not be ready for the CL squad. Nasri could take that spot.
That's why I think there would be several options to integrate Nasri - IF Pep wanted to... and nobody knows yet.

Because last year, when Nasri was told he wasn't going to be a starter he carried on like a pork chop.

Ya Ya buckled down. I doubt Nasri would. And if Gundogan had remained fit Ya Ya may have still been left out.

It's not impossible, but it's not black and white either.

Put these in order of what they have contributed to City: Nasri, Yaya, Bravo, Aguero.

Then review your last 1,000 posts.

Right, I have reread all my posts and I conclude you cannot understand, so come back trying humour to hide you your level. Note to self, try not engage with children and animals :)

Your comeback has the force of a 60-yard free kick from a gnat.

The one thing you've demonstrated is that you live up to your user name. An intellectual pygmy.

Make your point or do us all a favour and shut down.
Unable to make sense of quite lucid posts by several people, you resort to scraping the barrel. OK seeing as researching the timeline of events is beyond you, I'll recap....

You claimed Nasri came back 'Looking like Mr Blobby' (overweight I presume). I said Nasri wasn't the only player who came back overweight which was a fact & as restated by Pep 'Nasri was the one who said he wanted to go on loan' meaning it wasn't City who wanted to lose him at that time.

Other posters (including myself) have drawn comparisons between Yaya's situation and his subsequent rehabilitation as something that could also be afforded to Nasri IF Pep wants him to stay.

Since then you have got your G-String in a twist with several posters over what? I don't really know. Try not to get intellect & intelligence mixed up sunshine, as judging by the fact I've had to wipe your nose & your arse whilst spoon feeding you your own posts, suggest you're bereft of both in any significant amounts.

For the avoidance of doubt, I would like to end this infantile exchange with you here, as I and other posters I'm sure would prefer to get back on topic. If you wish to continue your infantile series of posts, then fine, let's do it by PM & not derail this interesting thread of varying opinions..... Well it was until you rocked up with your inane bollocks.

I wouldn't worry, Bacon seems to have lost the ability to read back through his own comments, let alone anyone else's. He's obviously frustrated about something in life which has manifested itself on this thread in the form of thinking other posters are his personal reading servants.

That's what happens when people get delusions of grandeur and start referring to themselves as 'Sir'. Ah well :-)

Easy to see why you're retiring at this point but that's fine by me. Have a lovely day.

In fairness, it seems it took a few months for Yaya to concede the point.

I like Nasri but I have to say I think it's odd there are people on here who want to keep Nasri and will demand Foden is given a chance. If Foden is to be given a chance he'll have to wait for an opportunity behind Silva, KdB, Bernardo and Gundogan. If Nasri stays then that list gets longer.

It's a pity Nasri didn't stay last year as he would really have helped when Silva got injured in the FA Cup semi final or the derby at home but he decided to leave himself not Pep.

No or at least not as far as I know.
I always thought what pep publicly said about Yaya a bid odd considering Pep had just arrived leaving little time for Yaya to piss him off. It always struck me that the approach to both Yaya & Hart was payback of some sort... However I never got that feeling with Nasri, but who knows what's happening inside the halls of power...

I think the situation with Yaya was to show his agent who is in charge.

I don't think Yaya and Pep ever actually had a problem, it was more of a case of Seluk speaking out of turn and Yaya not publicly condoning it.

I think he probably had a problem with Yaya's fitness, or lack of.

I often hear arguments that it tells us something about a player that no one is competing to get him ...but I think in this case it tells you more about the craziness of "group think" that Nasri isn't in huge demand by the likes of Everton, Southampton, Stoke, Burnley, Bournemouth, even Liverpool or Spurs, etc. Even at high wages I doubt that he's unaffordable for any PL club post TV-deal (surely a signing-bonus would take care of they cost above their wage ceilings).

We got Anelka when we were poor. He had a reputation of being a sulk but it was mostly irrelevant because he did his job great.

When you think of the level of player at some of the other PL clubs, more fool them.

(Same with Mangala)
