So I did go and research that 'fact' and it was a lie, split down the middle is 50-50. So i wrote
Semi-skilled & unskilled manual occupations, Unemployed and lowest grade occupations was almost two-thirds in favour of quitting, voting Out by 64% to 36%, according to You Guv.

Which you changed to 60-40 because erm...that's your definition of 'split down the middle'

Maybe he thought you were one of those 'thick ignorant racists' from a 'crappy northern town' that that bastion of the suburban right The Guardian speak about so often post the referendum.

I'm confused I have just put down 100 pennies(being poor and uneducated i couldn't afford any more) and put 64 on one side and 36 on the other. At first glance it appears one pile is almost twice the size of the other. Surely they should look roughly equal.

Surely a remainer can clarify if 64/36 is a smidgeon short of 2/1 or if it is in fact evens.

It's a head scratcher this one.

so I did. Well I had to do a Bing search on Google for the word 'Research' first.
Likely sat at home mumbling about thick, racist, xenophobic bigots.

It takes some serious mental gymnastics to think 64-36 is 'split down the middle' I think i'll see if he's posted on the Flat-Earth thread.

Are you ignoring the fact that the EU imposes tariffs averaging 18% on non EU foods, with some over 100%, to protect EU producers? It therefore stands to reason that the EU will need to reduce prices to compete with non EU producers, or risk losing their share of the UK market, which means UK food prices are more likely to fall to world market prices.
