Love him, and always will, but I still think we currently play better on the whole as a team with Jesus in the 9 role.

Thought he was very good first half and certainly put a shift in chasing the ball around their back line. Unlucky not to score. Could see why pep made the change though, he was fading and Jesus gave us thelegs again. It’s a team game and what a fcuking team we have.

I reluctantly agree, we are more fluid with Jesus but my problem is that Jesus is not clinical. I just don't have confidence in his finishing as much as I do for Aguero. I feel like Jesus will make more opportunities for himself or be in the right position but will convert less than Aguero would if he was in the same position. His energy and link up play is excellent though.

Apart from the obvious energy factor, I'm curios to know what Pep sees in each, i.e. what are qualities that Aguero has over Jesus that warrants a start in certain games.

I didnt think so,i thought it was a lazy,unenthusiastic display.We looked far better when Jesus came on,the team links better.

He re-energised the team when he came on and his pace pinned back the Sputs defence leaving a big hole for Kev to exploit..

It’s fucking tedious. Same shite from the same posters again and again. He played well and I’d be disappointed in him if he wasn’t pissed off to be subbed in a big game.
I’m made up we’ve got Jesus playing for us but I think his impact is seriously exaggerated by some in order for them to convince themselves he’s a better option than Aguero.

He makes so many great runs and at times his movement is unique.

However, of late many of those runs are down the left-hand side as he bears down on goal resulting in him having to shoot on his weaker left - usually straight at the keeper or side netting.

Against Swansea he scored doing the same but down the right-hand side and also put one narrowly wide.

I wonder why - are defenders ushering him the way he simply would rather not go?

It is rare now that he gets a one-on-one with any keeper due to being shackled by several defenders.

It's not rocket science guys. As the second half begun we were struggling a little, so pep made the change to press their defence more and give the midfield more support. Nothing to do with Sergio's performance

I think what's held him back for us. The fact he's had a lot of injuries and also often playing through them.

His body lets him down. He was limping when he came off, he's not moving right.
