Alexis Sanchez

Thanks for the info, I did not know City withdrew the offer. When did that happen?
Not too sure when, just gathering what I could from media sources. But that was general gist of it.

What's happening right now seems to be Sanchez having second thoughts. But City is moving on based on principles.

Who do we even have lined up as an alternative to Sanchez? If this is dead then we need to make moves because the depth in the squad is thin to key positions.

MUTV are showing Alexis' best goals and assists, strongly indicates he's going there and City should move onto other targets.

The reported figure was 260,000? From City's side.

And that is only the wages. I believed someone mentioned a huge sum apart from the 35m transfer fee, which was non-inclusive of the agent fees and other add-ons. It's daylight robbery.

Difference right now is, City WITHDREW their offer. Sanchez went back on his word with Guardiola, using United's offer as leverage for more money. City's immediate response was "bye".
If that's true, fair play to City. New centre forward in the Summer. Who do you fancy Pep? Mbappe?

You’d think he’d at least be on the bench. Done deal then :/
Not really, Peggy leaves him out all the time. He is leaving regardless.

Not sure why everyone is getting worked up.
If you read the article and not just the headline all it says is that we aren't gonna pay him that. Doesn't say it's off.

I think it's reasonable to assume that Sanchez has come to us and we are negotiating.

That was the deal clincher, right there.
I like how everytime they mention the number 7 shirt and their past wearers, they conveniently leave out Michael Owen.

Spot on. Used to be in his little cult until I noticed how much of a pretentious twat he comes across as on there, particularly in the comments. Worst offender ive seen for the "I'm a bigger blue than you" bullshit thrown around the Internet. Was going to just leave the group without saying anything but thought I'd call him out on it knowing full well he'd save me the hassle of leaving. his "updates" are always rather vague and have an escape route sewn into everyone of his posts so nobody can say he was wrong. If he's the best inside info we've got then there's no point in listening to anything anyone says.

Followed him for a while, called him an over opinionated tosser and left, saw him at Anfield yesterday my lad dragged me away from him as I was about to give him a volley

Grow up. We have had bet wetters on here stating it as fact for days and not one has any fucking idea.

Their channel is currently playing his best goals and assists. I don't think they'd take the risk of humiliating and pissing off their entire fan base by building it up so blatantly if they didn't have some pretty solid reassurances.

No Mkhitaryan in the squad at all
Mourinho:
"I would lie if I said it was a pure tactical decision. It was just a choice of the players that we know, in this moment, they have 100 per cent their heads in Manchester United.

"No doubts about the future. I don't think it's easy for a player to play when there are doubts about his future. It's added pressure that a player doesn't need, so I think it's the best for him and for us, while the doubt is in the air, to protect him."
