Personally I am well pissed off over the Sanchez debacle.

He would have been with us at the start of the season if it wasn't for Wenger messing us about.

Jose thought he had his man with Lumpapoo but he has realised that he is less than mobile and contributes next to nothing in the build up play, so he does his usual and shits on his nearest rival by gazumping their intended target.

The only silver lining is that if Sanchez really wanted to come to us he would have turned down the Scum, so after all he looks just like all the other mercenaries out there.

We do need cover for Aguero though, I dread to think what we would do if he gets injured.

Jesus would play and we'd be just as good.

I’ll tell you what we’d do .
We’ll still score goals that’s what.
We’ve goals all over the team and plenty of em!

I want to see how much of it Everton include up front in their accounts for this season, that should be a good indicator. Considering much of Tony Marshall's add ons were for things such as "10 first team appearances" and "10 goals in competitive fixtures", its fair to say they have form for using the term "add ons" as window dressing to hide the actual money paid, along with other things like feeding the media a net wage figure for Sanchez when salaries are always reported as Gross in the UK and Ireland.

Everton - yes, good point
French Toni - 25 goals and 25 French caps or something I think, but yes, easy. It just allowed them to delay for a year or so. Transfermarkt report him at 54M, so some of them at least are included.

I'm not. In the long run it'll benefit us more having him there because he's proved himself to be a treacherous fucker who'll stop at nothing to get his own way. He's shown the whole world that he's a mercenary and football fans will give him a lot of stick for that, so before he's even kicked a ball for the rags he's damaged their already poor reputation amongst other supporters. Every stray pass and scuffed shot, every missed attempt at goal, and every time he goes down in the box a little too easily it will be met with so much piss-taking and abuse from opposition fans that he'll wish to fuck he hadn't bothered turning up on these shores in the first place. On top of this, Pogbad loves being the centre of attention, he's not going to take being out of the limelight and playing second fiddle to Sanchez very well. Plus there's the question of wage parity to consider.

You watch, it'll be all sunshine and smiles for a while: he'll grab a couple of goals or assists in the first few weeks and both the rags and the sycophantic media will be tonguing his Chilean anus to orgiastic climaxes, but eventually it'll turn sour: the ego clashes between Maureen, Pogbad, Sanchez and a few others will prove to be way too combustible and the fall out from the resulting explosion will make Armageddon look like a Sunday picnic.

A bit strong, but I agree we have dodged a bullet. He is expensive, fickle, and getting on a bit for the type of player he is. We probably need someone else, but I am impressed by our basic policy of buying younger players with potential to develop and serve us for many years.

Fucking oranges bwahahaha. All we need now is a trawler and some fucking seagulls.
Deluded prick

To clarify......we weren’t gazumped!!!

Hmm...

Arsène Wenger held two hands up and said Arsenal were at fault for Alexis Sánchez missing a doping test but they have “nothing to hide”, because his transfer to Manchester United was going through. “I pushed always for football to do more against doping so I don’t see why we shouldn’t cooperate. We try our best but this was a special day,” said Wenger.

No we weren't, but everyone other than us, either believes we were, wants to believe we were, or knows we weren't but lies for the clicks.

Not that it’s anything to get hung up about, but if you look at the actual definition of gazumping and apply what happened specifically to Sanchez (not Arsenal) and him verbally accepting our contract offer, only to go and accept a much higher one from United, then we were indeed gazumped. If we’d subsequently gone back in with a higher contract offer than United and he accepted that then they in turn would’ve been gazumped.

Well, when you put it like that, using logic an that, you're right.

Rag ;-)

Sanchez misses drug test! Any other player and Arsene would be all over it... love to see a well deserved ban for this...
It probably was just an administrative mistake but we had a few of those related to drug testing, as well, and everyone went mental.

No doubt nothing more will be said after this Guardian report and the story will die as they all do when they have nothing to do with us.
