Agree with this. Leicester know that if he's an unhappy bunny until the end of the season and doesn't play for them- they won't get anywhere near the fee we are offering them now. His valuation will drop atleast 20%.You can’t underestimate how much the player’s intentions matter here.
Once he has formally handed in his transfer request it means he really wants out. If Leicester deny him the move he will be a very unhappy bunny and Leicester know he is unlikely to deliver on the pitch if he stays.
There will already have been a breakdown with the agent and player and Leicester are just going to hang out for the best possible deal. This will be done but not until the eleventh hour. City will up their offer again before then. I expect he will go £70 mill at the end of the day.
It will happen.
