"can you not follow simple Instructions Paul? Just give it to the orange at the top of the tree. He earns a lot more than you, and he can also play the Piano. If that doesn't work, tell the ref that we deserve a goal because of our history. In the highly unlikely event that doesn't work, try some flicks in areas where it won't hurt spurs. At least the sheep will still think we're genuine title challengers if we have piano playing oranges and expensive trick ponies."

Hahahaha brilliant

I remember Mario Gomez at Bayern, bit dangerous in the air and decent poacher but that's about all. They upgraded to Mandzukic and eventually to world class Lewandowski. Lukaku is a Gomez United paid world class money for. Matic is a plodder with no mobility and a big part of why they have to be so defensive against decent teams that move the ball quickly. Lindelof looks poor in the air and in physical contests which is surprising for a Mourinho signing. Sanchez is a one man band who constantly gives the ball away and people ignore his shocking half season for Arsenal thinking he's still at last seasons level.

Watched the rags on MOTD last night for the laugh... all the money spent and Peg been in the job for a while now and yet they play like strangers - a team of individuals.... the contrast when watching us and our cohesion and team spiritis is staggering

Sanchez is a good player but totally unsuited to Utd's defensive + fast counter attacking play. With Sanchez playing, Utd are far less likely to get the 1-0, 2-1 and 2-0 wins they used to get from being second best but counter attacking really well.

Pogba would be insanely good under pep.

Not too sure about that pal, i reckon pogba knows it as well which is why he went to united instead. He would have hot shown up with the level of player we have.

Each week the rags bang on about how is fantastic at this and that, the the games come and he is just total dross

Good line (from a Rag) in the comments section of The Guardian this morning, referring to Lukaku...'Lukaku is little more than a runaway wardrobe - speed of a racehorse, strength of a dray horse, brains of a fucking rocking horse.'

Poor Alexis, escaped one shower of shit only to join another.

Never mind the glory eh Alexis just enjoy the cash

After watching the highlights last night on motd he looked totally out of place in that team. He did a few runs like he normally does but was again trying to do it all himself, i reckon last night went some way to telling him what level of player he is now playing with and that they are level/worse than arsenals level

Arsenal fans will also be laughing at him

I hope the Sanchez signing pressures Mourinho into trying the same attacking football that failed so spectacularly at Chelsea. They were hemorrhaging points trying to put on a show and it ruthlessly exposed his short comings as a coach. I certainly hope he tries a Pogba Matic midfield 2 against us.

Totally agree. From a football perspective he has actually taken a step down.

It must be dawning on him that playing the Mourinho way is a big price to pay for that fat pay check, especially when he watches us and thinks 'I could have been part of that'.
