It's a recurring theme. Exactly the same thing happened with Januza i or whoever he was to try and persuade him to play for England instead of Belgium. He went to Sunderland I think and not been heard of since.
 
McTominay will be off to Villa soon enough - the elephant man will pay top dollar for him once it becomes clear he’s not up to much.
