As has been said a few times on this thread. Win it the game before so they, as has been EVERY year for the last couple of decades, provide a guard of honour for the champions.
Derby games are hard enough on my liver/fingernails as it is without them having the chance to put a very very very small damper on our celebrations.

Here’s another belter: Times reporting that Gareth Southgate is set to meet today with Rags’ latest overhyped ‘done f*** all’ (my words not the Times’, obviously), Scott McTominay, in an attempt to persuade him to play for England!

Oh, ffs! He’s off to Russia then!

All that matters is winning the league and battering the rags. I don’t give a monkeys shit when, where or how we do it.

Id like us needing to win the game then blow them away in rampant fashion, a mix of how we played against Stoke earlier on in the season with the goals we scored last night. Should be a fantastic occasion putting their limp dicked over paid football team to bed and laying down a marker to them that this must be the standard you have to be to take the trophy off us next season. Will send the raggy players off into the summer with their heads down dreading preseason and whats coming in August.

With the whole world watching. Simply Loveleh ;)

Fucking hell...
It’s like Ben Franklin always said; “There are three certainties in life: Death, Taxes and the latest shitty youth player from united getting a completely undeserved national call up”

I know, just read it in the lounge at Euston , what a crock of shit.

I'm on a football fb page, talking to a Utd fan who seems to think their this whiter than white set of fans, I've heard they say about Aberfan at Cardiff years ago is this true?.

P.s I also heard they took 0 to Millwall the same season, where as 2 weeks earlier took 12000 to Orient.

i think united are going to give us this and wave the white flag well before the derby comes along. city have double enough points already to win the league from here on in even if it was only 8 points i would not bet against city still walking it from here and united losing 3 or 4 thats the level we are talking about with this city team

I’d fancy City if United were 8 points ahead.

I love the way the rags are consoling themselves by comparing our current team to their previous good teams.
One thing they fail to appreciate is that their good teams by and large only had one competitor. Their team with Rooney, Ronaldo and Tevez would be the only one of their previous Premier League teams that would give us a contest. This City team would wipe the floor with their 99 treble winning team.

This is the point. You would expect us to outperform United between now and the end of the season so the 16 point gap is just one hell of an insurance policy against the odd hiccup or bad decision.

its not even 1 or 2 bad hiccups but 5 or 6 and then united have to win every game the fact manchester city are 16 points clear just does not give them any chance and the squad and manager united have means they will have to push it to the limit and play a different style of football and you can not change that in a couple of weeks

the hurt united board are going to feel in the summer is going to be good to watch somebody got to take the blame for manchester city building a mountain of a lead over united that will not only see manchester city champions and league cup winners again but this season they are close in europe to building a winning team in that too. united did not want jose in the first place and his the style of football is not what united are built on and the cups last season he won was a false dawn in thinking he could push pep and manchester city this season or any other for that matter

united have a big summer in making up there minds about jose and his style will they make him change it to suit the players they are the power and key to pogba and he will demand a free role or he's off and the others will leave with pogba single out as trouble. i can see a wenger and arsenal thing happening at united and jose next season he has got them by the balls he knows they can not really sack him with the amount of money he as spent already

Unsurprising but laughable really, football homepage of the Guardian App, nothing re City, 1 link to Gargoyle Chuckles first game, meanwhile JJIAC has been wanking into his sock over Scott McPogba

On a more composed note this whole play barely a game and half for the Rags and you get a call up has been going on for decades, surely it can’t be a positive thing for the young player nor the international team as it a) Tells the player he’s made it, which after what 5 games or whatever it is he clearly hasn’t and b) Devalues the international team standing vs club as the national manager is coming cap in hand asking if you fancy a game, when in its truest terms it was once seen as the pinnacle of your career to achieve a call up. Anyway add it to the list of reasons that I’m not arsed about the national team and add the lad to the never ending list of overrated England players to come from that stench of a club

Mike Duxbury
Mike Phelan
Gary Bailey
Frazier Campbell

They will be shitting themselves if we can win the league against them. 6-0 City.
