Very well said. Every word.Carragher seems ashamed of his actions and rightly so, as it was absolutely disgusting. Yet I do not think he deserves to lose his job. To my knowledge I have never heard of any other controversy surrounding him. Everyone makes mistakes. You would have to hope this will turn out to be an isolated and out of character event. It is was then he deserves a second chance and the opportunity to restore his reputation.
Just to clarify, Ryan Giggs is the lowest of the low.
Agreed. What I find cringeworthy is when nobheads try to engage famous people in conversation. They don’t want to be mythered with Joe Public. That’s why they sit in the Directors box and live behind big steel gates. They don’t want to talk to you, you have nothing in common with them , you don’t own them and you don’t pay their wages. They don’t want to be your mate. They cannot tell you to fuck off because you will be filming. Carragher should not have spat at him, agreed, but it has given this little toe rag his 5 minutes of fame and potentially ruined someone’s career.Very well said. Every word.
Speaks volumes about you then that if someone filming whilst driving offends you more than someone spitting at your child.
tom i'm willing to bet if someone filmed you cheating on your wife ect, youd let them piss in your face to get the footage..lolSpeaks volumes about you then that if someone filming whilst driving offends you more than someone spitting at your child.
Don't take this the wrong way but you're an idiot.Speaks volumes about you then that if someone filming whilst driving offends you more than someone spitting at your child.
I'd also predict some Scouser giving him a pasting in the very near future.Wonder if the Rag who took the video and felt like a dog with two dicks when he cashed in , is as ecstatic now he has been outed and his beloved Rags have crashed out of the Chumps league , Karma is a bitch.

What would you see as being more urgent, attacking the spitter or washing the spit off your child?Do you not remember this mate ? Go to 3.55

The problem with Carragher is that he's a hot-head, I have a certain amount of sympathy for him in a way because I can be too, but driving whilst on the phone aside, it's hardly the most abusive confrontation, first time I've seen this tbh but expected much much worse provocation, and spitting on someone's daughter, jebus, I can't imagine what I'd do if someone did that to one of mine.
He was spat at and got upset, it seems.Seem to remember him trying to get at some Luton fans in a private box a few years ago after they the took the piss out of him

I not sure I know what kind of a moral compass these people have. I think we all hate players and managers of rival teams but we do it from afar and it is almost a virtual hate. If I happened to cross paths with an rival player I wouldn't be asking for his autograph or be trying to shake his hand but by the same token I would respect him as an individual and allow him to go about his business without abusing or goading him regardless of who he was.Knowing where Carragher was brought up , i would think this would be a likely outcome , only a Rag could think putting himself and his family at risk for 15 minutes of fame and a few quid , was worth it , in general they arent the brightest of people.

It's just common decency and civility.
Was fortunate /unfortunate enough to meet Steven Gerrard on a corporate/charity soiree in Southport a couple of years ago , and what a really nice bloke he turned out to be , almost made me feel guilty about singing the Slippy song , not for long though :)
