Everyone on that board went ballistic the moment they went out against Seville while we started to pull apart, on the way to shattering a myriad of top flight records. Any post talking about City's achievements were met with hysterical cries about "money" "oil money" "doesn't mean anything" etc.

Some of the long term Liverpool fans were banned for innocuous comments as well. Used to be a decent forum,imo. Turning more into the United rawk, recently.

I couldn’t convince them that our revenue is around the seventh highest in world football.

Twatter got be all emotional announcing the death of Sir Alex Fergusson. Turns out the chap was a prominent Member of Scottish Parliament and not the the footballing one.

Tears of some very discontented fans of a team that's a shell of what it used to be. The noisy neighbours have well and truly knocked them off of their perch and it evidently stings.

I think City are fifth revenue wise in world football, and not too far behind fourth.

I’d forgotten all about that post of yours. IIRC it was in table form and it clearly proved your point yet many of them wouldn’t accept it. I think some tried to claim that it was an anomaly as some of the teams they’d beaten were in lowly positions at the time but would go on to finish in a higher position. While true to an extent, the difference between who had had the easier run of fixtures up to that point was plain for all to see.

I think many of them are still smarting from Wembley, April '11, 23/10/11 and of course, Agüeroooooooooo, as well as finishing above them for every one of the last five seasons.

Isn’t it brilliant being a City supporter at this moment in time?
 
I see their chief scout has buggered off. Probably sick of suggesting decent targets and players they actually need and being ignored by WooWar because they don’t have enough instagram friends and twitter likes.

I agree. They punched well above their weight to finish 2nd. Did De Gea get voted their player of the season again for something like 4th season on the trot. How embarrassing is that.
 
If I were them I'd terminate his contract immediately on the grounds of bringing the club into disrepute and appoint Zidane in time for the new season. At least he'd get them playing football.
Ok so they'd end up in court with peg but it would still be cheaper than some of his flops

He should have got the bullet over his football heritage loony rant. You have to factor in the level of incompetence behind the scenes into the equation, how the hell was he given a new contract playing that shite, haha. Zidane? More chance of fat Sam as caretaker mid season.
