New Ticket Website, not fit for purpose

Won't let me buy hoffenheim ticket cue call to city and 50th in queue!
There are clear issues with the site and sick of city keep burying their head in the sand and pretending their ain't a problem

They are having a problem with some people who’s have qualified on points not being registered on the Cup Scheme even though they are on it and have a ticket for Lyon through it.
That’s why it says ‘restricted’ even though you have the points. Supporter Services need to lift the restriction for you.

If you can get through That is 50th in queue and gave up after 45 minutes on hold and reaching 23

That's what happened to my wife, only took an hour and a half on the phone.
 
Doesbt even say restricted on ours. The option is set to buy tickets but it says that they have reached their assigned allocation even though they haven't bought one.
I've tried adding 2 and removing one I've tried adding 1 and then just redesigning owners but not having it.
It really shouldn't be this difficult to purchase a ticket, whatever the crowd is Tommorow I'd expect would of been at least a couple of thousand more if people had been able to actually do the simple task of buying a ticket online

If the warning sign comes up and there is a zero in their allocation then they don’t have the points or are not on the scheme
If there’s a one in their allocation then they have bought one
 
Well what a nightmare at lunch time today.
Logged on at 12 on the dot to buy two tickets for Hoffenheim.
Obviously both assigned to me, cue red warning I can’t do that. Assigned ticket one and then assigned ticket 2 and then another red warning. “Sorry but the ticket exceeds the limitations for that owner as they are only allowed 0, yes zero, tickets”.
How could that be? They both have the required points, couldn’t work it out. Then logged on as person number 2 and it said restricted sale for Hoffenheim which means they don’t have the points, ah but he does I hear you say. It has to be that he’s not in the CL scheme, although he got his CL ticket on Thursday through the scheme.

Thought I’d give them a ring. Nice girl on the phone says all tickets are gone and that he’s not in the CL scheme so I say he is, check Thursday’s ticket. She says it’s incorrectly coded that he’s not in the CL and she can’t change it.
I complain that I had two tickets in my basket and that their mistake has meant I lost both tickets.
There’s nothing I can do as I can’t change it so I’ll put you through to Supporter Services, at which point she cuts me off instead!

Ring SS and get a nice tune and told I’m 30th in the queue. 45 minutes later I’m ready to throw the phone out the window when I finally get Chloe on the line.
I explain the CL scheme mess up, the cut off when transferred, the endless wait and the lack of tickets.
She sorts out the error on the CL scheme for him, allocates two restricted view tickets, asks for my CC details and apologises for my prolonged wait.

So after using one hour and five minutes of my one hour lunch, I finally got two tickets.

What a lovely girl, and what excellent service from the SS team on this occasion.

However the ticket website is shite to use.

How can the same shit happen to the same guy?

Not Chloe today and had to wait for over an hour to get it sorted. That’s two hours to sort out a problem of the club’s making.
Seven of us applying for tickets and two haven’t had their CL schemes correctly added so they could buy tickets.
That’s a 30% failure rate.

That's what you'd think wouldn't you but no he's on 17990 points so qualified as of 12pm today. He's on the cup scheme and he hasn't bought one as he's in Turkey with no email access.

Same thing happened to me today and yesterday, and it was because the site hadn’t recognised they were on the Cup Scheme, I had to get SS to change their account before they could have a ticket.

Thanks squirty - tried to get an U19 for me yesterday & it said is was going to be posted - would have been half over by the time the postman gets here so S ordered another on her seasoncard and got an email to print at home - They've just emailed me my print at home for the original ticket as you were sorting Hoff for me - It's a shambles.

No worries, all sorted and no one left with wasted flights/hotels. Plus mine’s in a different block so happy days!

When I bought my U19 one it only allowed a print at home option. Printed yesterday and good to go.

We've tried 3 times now got To number 3 on phone then just stayed there for 45 minutes. No doubt it will sell out before we get chance to speak to anyone to resolve
 
It's always been dogshit and it has never worked. I was whinging to ManCityDigital and Richard Ayers about this so that must be a good 8-10 years back.

How shit has a business got to be to make it as difficult as possible to purchase their goods? Beggars belief.

Well I say that but in the modern football business, we're not really the customer any more. Thanks to massive commercial incomes, we're the product now.
 
Seem to be having the same issue as everyone else, on the cup schemes but had 0 confirmation. Quite embarrassing supporter services Twitter account are burying their head in the sand and not addressing any issues. Phone queue at number 53 when I called at lunch!
 
We seem to have proper and efficient people working in many departments at the club. What the hell went wrong in the ticketing department....how is the guy responsible for this mess stilll in the job???.

And ask them why even after years of fan complaints, and after an apparent revamp pre-season, many fans think the website is worse than ever.

And why aren’t the club looking at these issues highlighted by the fans, who are also customers as well.

Reading this thread I’m so glad I have no interest in buying any of these tickets. What a fucking nightmare for you all. Complete shambles and not remotely acceptable.
