New Ticket Website, not fit for purpose

No follow up email confirming your purchase.
I received a confirmation email for my Liverpool ticket within a couple of minutes yesterday, have you checked your spam folder?

One other minor thing to add is the (lack of) accuracy of the "reminders" on the account page, I've joined the FA Cup and League Cup schemes but the "my account" page keeps saying I can still join the FA Cup scheme despite it appearing on my ticket schemes list and that the club itself said that entry to all the Cup schemes had closed on 31st August.

I used to think the old ticketing software was bad but I now realise it was state of the art tech compared to the current shit.

Supporter services posted this yesterday:
Seasoncard holders on the UEFA Champions League Cup Scheme, your payment for Lyon hasn't yet been taken. Payment will be processed this week and confirmation will be sent once complete.

Call me cynical but.........what if the new site has a problem either taking & allocating payments or activating seasoncards ? Or both ? Seems a coincidence that an issue has arisen with the first cup game. Only a week to go before the Lyon game and all we seem to be getting are vague indications of payment date.
Let's hope we don't have large queues at the turnstiles next Weds night with thousands of inactivated cards.

I had to phone because the site wouldn't let me pay for my Cardiff ticket, they tried to charge the booking fee, I told them to fuck off because the online option was obviously not available to me. They waived the booking fee but then tried to tell me how good our system really is. He said "I'm a Leicester fan you should try using their site, the feedback we're getting is that Man City's system is better than most of the Premier league clubs". Who the fuck are they getting that feedback from?

Seeing as Leicester use the same ticketing system, it doesn't say much does it.

I know it’s been asked before but can someone explain when the points from tickets purchased go on your total and also when do u get the lump sum for joining the cup schemes , was always easy to see and understand but this season it’s a mystery to me . Also , what’s the difference between granted and granted manually

according to the website your points are added 7 days after the fixture.
Cup scheme points will be added following our knock out of the individual cup.

It does make it more of a pain to keep a track of.

As we were shoved into 93:20 last year due to the Tunnel Club I didn’t know that they posted out separate tickets for CL games and not load it on my card.
With a week left to the game have they left time to post out my CL ticket, and then my Cardiff tickets and my Oxford ticket?

Is it any wonder we’ve got empty seats at home.

People wanting to go to the match, and who use the OS ticket page/s, probably give up in the end.

A message to the people running supporter services and the IT and tech departments at City.

Sort the OS and ticket page out. Both are shite, and rather improving it, you/somebody has made it worse!

I tried booking two tickets for any home match between now and the end of November and could only find singles in every block it showed me.
I gave up and booked for the Lyon game, but they can't load the tickets our cards. The cards are not up for renewal until the end of October, but they sent me a reminder to manually renew now. I emailed them and they said the tickets will be posted before the game but I'm not confident of that and have flights and accomodation booked.

I never had it this difficult in past years. I envisage having to get to the ticket office early with proof of ID.
Really hope this is not going to be the case everytime I try to get Prem Home tickets.

I wasn't aware that 93.20 seats were paper tickets for CL games. My seat in EL3 is always loaded on my card. You are right though - time seems to be running out to solve what may well be a monumental cock up in changing the website.

Tried buying my Liverpool ticket today on my pc which has windows 10 and on Google chrome.
All seemed to be fine till you get to the pay button and nothing happens.

It is shockingly bad and is no doubt costing them ticket sales. Even an announcement saying they are aware there are issues and are seeking to resolve them would be nice however the silence suggests they think it's all fine

To me the silence suggests they don't give a shit about matchday fans, but that doesn't sit right with their desire to squeeze every last penny out of us, so now I'm more confused than someone trying to use the fucking site in the first place....

We KNOW they look at this site, so who's sitting in the board meetings telling everyone "That Bluemoon, they're all so positive about us on there. No complaints whatsoever."?
