They start or at least are part of every match day squad they pick,it's what they have,and have to deal with,great innit.

Backup to new signings they'd need to make. That's my entire point, they're miles away off having a sqaud that would compete for the league

Name one backup player I listed that would get into city, Liverpool or Chelsea's first XI

I think modern football has left PEG behind, no so much in terms of tactics (although it is hilarious how boring and shite they are!) but definitely massaging egos in the dressing room.

Rightly or wrongly the days of managers effing and jeffing and giving people the "hairdryer" in the dressing room have gone, these managers only last two or three seasons before they have the dressing room down tools on them.

Managers like Conte and PEG demand respect from their players, but you have to earn respect and over time I think the players lose all respect for those kind of managers especially if you aren't winning. It doesn't help throwing players under the bus all the time, especially young players, and PEG is the worst for that.

When he was first at Chelsea, and Inter, he was seen as a special manager. Players would do what he demanded because of that. He was special and the players thought he'd make them special too. For me it changed at Real. Yes he won trophies there but he upset everyone while he was at it, the players, the club, the league, everyone hated him. He certainly wasn't seen as special, eye gouging and being a total pr*ck made sure of that,

Since then he's just come across as an angry man, and importantly too he isn't seen as special anymore, by anyone especially the players. I don't think he realises that, he isn't going to get the best out of players by slagging them off, in fact quite the opposite.

So now we have the scenario that was always going to happen, him versus the dressing room, exactly as at Chelsea. I can only see one winner in the long term, but you'll have to sack him, he won't walk, and until they work that out they may lose some genuinely good players if PEG can bully them out of the door first!

Ah yes,well this is the difference,they are not a top 3 team,arguably not top 6 in some books,including me,but you have taken time to analyse their squad,and have used back up scenarios,who would probably get into most top European sides,but not necessarily English ones
