I do hope so, but my fear is that Pep is so dogmatic in his view that the way he likes us to play is "the right way", I just can't see him changing. His record against Klopp is not great, even when he was managing Bayern and Klopp had on paper a vastly inferior side with Dortmund.

Fortunately, Pep's way is better over the course of 38 games, but in one-off games like on Sunday I think we'll get reamed, yet again.
Yep I agree 100%, all though I dreamed last night that we won 4-0 (no lie!).

PEP: Every game is completely different (against Liverpool). In the #UCL, the first game we made a good performance except at the end of the first half. At home we made a very good game as well. It doesn’t matter that we lost.

Pep on claims that Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool have found out how to beat City. "Good. Congratulations. They are right."

PEP: They are a top side in the way they play. Liverpool beat a lot of sides not just City (last season). Liverpool is one of two greatest teams in England. We try to be close to them. They are top side and we try to be closer every time.

Pep was asked was kev available and said we will see tomorrow! Personally think he will at least be on the bench

Has he voted lose too?

How good their players are individually compared to ours isn’t the issue. As Chippy Boy says, it’s simply that the way we prefer to play is Klippety’s wettest dream. Henderson, Wijnaldum and Milner aren’t in the same league as Kev, Dave and Bernie in terms of skill and creativity, but that’s not what they are in the team for. Klopp picks them because they’re fantastically fit and physically aggressive, and their role is to press the opposition midfield like rabid dogs, turn the ball over and then quickly release Mane, Salah and Firmino to run at the exposed rearguard at breakneck speed. We lack pace and physical strength in the engine room compared to the dippers, and with our full backs shoved forward all the time, we’re in immediate trouble whenever we lose possession, because they have some serious pace and finishing ability up top. They’ve blown us away from the start every time we’ve been there under Pep, and even though Gundogan’s injury prevents us from exacerbating the situation with a team selection faux pas, I fully expect to get thumped on Sunday as per usual
Agree with everything you say. Pep needs to come up with a way of stopping Liverpool.

3 at the back maybe an option if Mendy is fit, cut the stupid mistakes out and dithering on the ball and that is a start.

It's probably the least enjoyable 2 hours of the season for me. I fear the worst beforehand then watch it unfold as I feared then get pissed.

No,he has had a few days training after a bad injury,it would be madness to risk it

He's been running and building it for a few weeks now, if he's allowed back on the pitch to train in full then he's able to play a match. Just depends on his fitness. I'd say he's so naturally fit that it won't be the worst thing to have him there just in case.

Pep has obviously cracked the mind games he’s supposed to play against klopp and Liverpool; their hubris. Genius.

Just wait for the whinging dippers to implodr on social media when the news hits Merseyside that mendy and KDB are fit

Unless were short on numbers we won't see kdb on the bench for this. Too intense of a game to bring him back in so soon after a lengthy lay off. He will have a fortnight after this game to get himself up to speed, it's not worth the risk so early into the season. No harm in keeping liverpool guessing though,
