Don't think I'd group the Pearce and Keegan years under the same umbrella, but I understand where you're coming from.
 
Some years ago I had a login for RC and I told them that Fergie had left them in a dysfunctional mess and they faced years of turmoil as the organisation was way too reliant on one man. There was no-one there to re-shape the organisation.

It seems I was correct beyond even my expectations and they are set for many years in the wilderness, fucking beautiful !

My only regret is that I got banned long before I could dig up the post and say I told you so.

It was ALL about that last season and doing whatever it took to win the title and have that as HIS legacy , regardless of what came after he’d tottered off to his whiskey collection.
Unfortunately many successful people dont really give a shit about whats left behind as long as THEY were a succees.

And basically giving him the job to appoint his successor set them back a good few years further because Moyes was never any where near up to it.

Oh well ....
 
They get a little bit of a free ride from the press with the cost of the team/squad on match days. Outclassed by Juventus but no questions on why, given their team assembled cost over 400 million

Yes, and the rags PR dept, sorry BBC, put out an article on how it was OK loosing to Juv because they are going to win it.
