See the BBC say their win in Juventus was historic and monumental. Surely a team costing over 400 million pounds with players on up to 500k a week should not be judged as Historic by winning away from home to anyone.
 
Having a tough time guessing how they'll line up. I know it'll be a 9-0-1 just not sure which players he'll pick...

Jose is a prick.he has every right to be attacked.. every time he opens his big fat mouth.
He didnt need to physically attack another person by poking his finger into his eye
He didnt need to verbally attack and insult a female member of his own staff in front of millions of watching football fans
He didnt need to attack Wenger callng him a specialist in failure
And he certainly doesnt need you defending him on here 48 hours before Derby day!!
If you want to post what the manchester united manager has to say ,and defend him,get over to redcafe pal.

When City won 2nil in Italy last season with a performance of breath taking counter attacking football i wonder what the bbc said then...they certainly didnt call it historic and monumental.....also to beat the Ukraine champions by a score of 9-0 over two legs was historic and monumental..what did the bbc say? Focus on the sterling pen!
It was historic when brighton beat the multi million pound utd team, and definitely monumental when championship derby beat them at old Trafford

You're right and as others have also said... City were great on the night. Maybe I was too harsh on Shaktar and hope they can get back to playing the same great football they were known for in recent years.

I need to get new glasses, i found myself agreeing 9 - 0 will be about right but i would still be happy with 6- 1
 
All media are clutching at whatever straws remain dangling of the rag click-fest. A lucky win at mighty Bournmouth and a last touch hail mary into the mixer at home to Juventus (juve should have been 5 up by then). It may show "character" (might be a clue to next manager, when jose is finally marched off in a straight-jacket).
I have noticed a general "softening" to our success and a general "no - further failure is inexcussble" to their fails. Oh well.
Btw mrs just asked about fate of "kevin the carrot" - sign for rags today, get mashed Sunday was my gut response.

Not all media; not by a long shot.

Those outlets beholden to a ManU readership are going to paint a rosy picture on whatever happens.

Meanwhile, media in general, are by-in-large going to report on a neutral basis. The majority of media coverage I've seen - e.g., ESPN, BT Sport, NBC - are (to say the least) unimpressed by ManU; I don't think that any of these outlets forecast a top-4 P/L finish by the Scum.
 
Ideal outcome for Sunday: we're winning 10 nil with a minute to go. Sterling trips over himself and the Altrincham fans awards a penalty, which we score from. City fans start singing "It should have been 10......" and the united fans join in.

And Alty man accidently swallows his whistle ends up in intensive care for ten years but fails to recover just before Altrincham have won the league due to an oil multi millionaire buying them out
