Atmosphere

I watched it on TV, the atmosphere was actually quite loud for periods of the game, i thought it sounded decent.

So frustrating to see so many empty seats today. Tried to get 2 tickets for my brother in law and his son somewhere near me in the lower tier and according to the website there were no seats together anywhere on that level. That was about a month ago so annoying to have so many not taken.

I know I will be in the minority - but I'm finding our matches less and less entertaining.

Not City, some of our football is sublime, but the opposition generally don't want to play, so often we're playing sideways in front of 11 men who are a packed defence behind the ball.

Doesn't exactly make me want to stand up and sing a ditty.

Change the bluemoon tune to the actual bluemoon tune that will help. And if you need to be losing to sing and chant then fuck knows? we should be doing it no matter what

There was a lull before half time that is all. We are the best team in the league. Load of crap as the good old days never existed. I wasn't going mental at home to a normal team in the late seventies.

I was sitting at home watching on tele, I wish those lazy people at the match could make more noise, i can't get into the matchday experience with my surround sound TV if fans can't build atmosphere and them empty seats, what's going on there. Can they not drag some employees to fill up the spaces and give them a drum or some object that makes noise. The whole match time experience is so off putting. I literally had TV turned up to 10 and all i could hear was that gundog is shit. :-)

Its entertaining in the same way a film is sometimes. It's brilliant football but we know what's going to happen more often than not. Especially if you're sat in a section where no-one else is singing it's a bit awkward to start on you're own , especially if you're not steaming. Maybe that's just me though

Was awfull today in first half, but better in the 2nd half, think it will be a better atmosphere against Everton they usually bring a large vociferous crowd.
Maybe they might join us on s allez allez song!
Vociferous??. Good in numbers Everton but a few renditions of Everton...Everton.,,,,,,,,, doesn’t make them vociferous. Very quiet fans

Pep said it in his post match press conference: “We know our fans give us nothing unless we give something first. Sterling changed the game with his slalom”

It’s bad when our manager and (by extension) players, share the view that there is no support from the stands unless a player does something amazing. That’s quite damning, and it’s not a stretch to say we have one of the worst atmospheres in the country.

Should’ve turned it up to 11.

all games in premier league are the same when a big club play a team that you expected to win, thought it was alright where I sat maybe it’s where your sitting. through the history football this looking back thinking the atomsthere was brilliantly is selective memory

Just how I expected it to be really. Not great but not too bad. As for being embarrassed, fucking hell.

Empty seats and late arrivals due to the joke that is the Macunian Way / Regent Road roadworks - the atmosphere was poor yesterday. I think them timewasting and then equalising actually helped contribute to the rise in noise levels funnily enough.
