Watched a few of his last few games for Leicester and he's been as average as it gets against average Prem teams.

There was a point in the second half at Wolves when he just smashed the ball into space under no pressure, nowhere near finding a Leicester teammate, three times out of five passes.

Really?? He’s gone from being second choice behind Christian Fuchs to playing every week. He’s still really young Aswell.

Is going from second choice behind Christian Fuchs to first choice an accomplishment? for me at least he has not improved, but the most important bit is there is no sparkle , `he has not been amazing every game` , he has not been amazing in any game, and the only reason we would go after him is for the home grown quota

We all agree that Mendy is a bit gash defending but rather good going forward. We need another who is the opposite. Chilwell is not that man.

I’ll be surprised if we do buy one when we have Mendy and 2/3 other options in that position if mendy does get an injury we coped last season fine we have coped thos season.

The two best left-backs that I've seen play against City over the past 2 years are Andrew Robertson & Faouzi Ghoulam (sic).

We'd never get one of them and we'd get ripped off for the 2nd.

Other than that, I can't think of any LB's that would interest me.

Coping and actually having a proper replacement for him are 2 different things. We don't have another quality left back at the moment. All fine and dandy last season but teams have got wise this season.

We need a Danilo but at left back.

Totally agree with all of that. Don't really fancy Chilwell and £50 million!!!??.....move on and scout somebody quicker and cheaper if needs must...
