Unless the choice is whether to fly with Thomas Cook, right?What it shows, like the Newcastle game, is that we have a relatively small group of fans - probably around 750/800 - who put going to games above anything else. Then there's another group who don't.
I have the greatest respect for that first group but I also respect those who put in the effort to go when they can, taking into account work, family, etc.
I can't stand it when people choose to use their self-proclaimed super-fan status to belittle those who make a different choice to them. Everyone makes choices and making one choice doesn't make someone any better or worse than someone who makes a different choice.
