Thank God the days of fenced in fans is long behind us. What an awful way to treat paying customers.

Suprised anyone listens to this deluded Bell end. He will be saying that Palace are a bigger club than us next

Sky have posted an article today which is almost entirely devoid of real content and seemingly it's only reason for being is to have have a pop at Chelsea and ourselves over Hudson-Odoi and Phil Foden. For comparison they use Leicester as the benchmark and hold up 4 players as an example, Ben Chilwell, Demarai Gray, James Maddison & Harvey Barnes. 3 of them are 22 years old and Barnes is 21, for those who don't know, Foden & Hudson-Odoi are just 18.

And Leicester just sacked their manager and brought in a dentist to right the ship, so things are obviously going swimmingly for them.

Has Brennan's article comparing City/Pep's handling of Foden with United's/GPC's handling of the class of '92 appeared on this thread. Very relevant!

I seem to be entertaining your life at the moment jimmy jimmy....
Your telling me"get your facts right".....this next bit might be a bit painful for you son,but its the truth, quoted from our ex Captains own mouth...

"When i was a nipper,i leaned towards Manchester United rather than towards Manchester City"

Thats from Our ex captains book.."Manchester City.My Team"....chapter 4. Page 38.Copyright 1977.Mike Doyle.

Now you have been educated....i,ll admit..that i did make a mistake, from memory ,re the timing ofDoyles wish to join utd...a quick flick thru my book tells me that it was actually Frank o Farrell(who incidently scored on his debut for Preston north end, against Manchester City, playing alongside the great Tom Finney) and not Matt Busby that Doyle spoke to,when he wanted to leave City and join utd.

Ive already said, quite clearly, that Doyle was a magnificent player for us.without question....i,m just putting you right on the Doyle hated utd mantra

"The next day,i told Frank O Farrell that he,d got himself a new player..i asked him Do you want me to come tomorrow to sign?"(chapter4 page 44)

Regardless of what you think about me for highlighting this part of our history, i,m pretty sure you can now agree that Doyle was a red as a lad,and he wanted to leave City to join utd at one point in his careeer.
Can we agree on these two FACTS,jimmy grimble.....given that they come from our ex captains mouth.
And...no point trying to make out i,m not a Blue.ive slept with this book ,by my bedside, for over 30 years.Manchester City.My Team..purchased from an old book shop on Oxford rd Manchester,1987...You,d struggle to find a copy now of this slice of brutal reality Jimmy,i guess you could always console yourself with fantasy and fiction.

Ok we will go with your version of events even though tit is inaccurate , along the lines of Doyle was Rag , his Dad was a Rag , his son is a Rag ,his grandson is a Rag (thank fuck he has seen sense and plays for us) he had a dog called Besty , a cat called Combover and a canary named lawman , and he used to drink regularly in Bishops Blaize , does that cover it ?
Now you answer my question which you continually avoid , why would a supporter of our club go on a current media thread to highlight a 50 year old book with the only intention is to disrepsect one of most loyal players , what the f*ck has it got to do with this thread and what possessed you to do it ?

Perhaps you should post your crap on Rag Cafe , they would enjoy your posts , and idiots like you who want to tarnish our players , it would be home from home

Rag.

The BBC have us and the Sancho story as their main headline all day.

When we win a game its usually down the webpage somewhere.

Other stories on how two ex Liverpool managers will help them win the league. Basically intimating that Benitez could throw the game and Rogers is going to beat us to help them to win it. YCNMIU!
