Football Leaks/Der Spiegel articles

Am I getting paranoid or not. Is that it is at least twice a week that some article or other seems to come from Der Spiegel or other British based newspapers about us breaking something to do with FFP. I would have though that all the British based papers would have at least backed us. However it looks like they also what us banned from all European comps., just son their beloved 4 can have their 4 places back in European football.

The time has now come to issue Der Spiegel with a court writ, they will be sued in the British courts, if they do not stop printing these so called hacked e-mails. They have also got to provide the e-mail address of where they have got the so called hacked e-mails, with in a week. If they are not forth coming, the club will be suing them for all the loss of revenues that the club will lose, should a European ban come about, plus substantial damages. This will also apply to the country in which we were hacked. let Der Spiegel hope that it was not in America, because there we would hopefully be able to claim damages into the £100's Million of damages, which just might bankrupt Der Spiegel.

I`m sure that our Legal Team know what they`re doing.

It just seems strange that they always come out with the same line everytime. That the club will not be commenting about the article. It is time to get tough and start to threaten them with law suites if they do not stop printing these articles. By coming out with the same line it looks like the club has something to hide, and that there maybe some shred of truth in this matter. The fans deserve this.

Nothing personal, but I wouldn’t want you as my lawyer

Conversely, it is impregnable for the attack dogs.

I assume if there was anything actionable then something would have (maybe has) happened. As others have suggested, any action will require City to make statement on the hacked emails - to win, they would have to prove they are wrong in some way. I suspect they're happier to be thought to be rulebreakers than to prove it.

Playing a clever game. Say nothing, give no credibility to the accusations, they have been illlegally obtained and are not admissible in any court. In time we will hammer those who have been pointing the finger. All the printed press are in a precarious financial position and we will kick the finance legs from under them as and when we feel like it. As for whomever is behind this - I suspect FC Bayern - wait and see - a similar fate that awaited Napoleon Platani awaits them- there will be plenty of dirt on Rummeniger and Hoeness and it’ll get served cold at an opportune moment. I think the club are on top of this - the noise will get loader as it becomes more obvious we are winning the war.

Similar to Matt Wallace article and his musings on Sunday Supplement. They know nothing. Have no facts apart from those referred to in Der Spiegel (Which have been criminally obtained and have no context). He rather untruthfully indicated he thought the matter should be fully investigated due to public interest reasons. I think we all know thats rather journalistic clap trap so they can "reveal all" without relying on their rather flimsy "Allegations" and cry for punishments based on "what ifs"
City will neither comment on their validity or not. Creating further public interest is not what the club wants. We under no circumstances want our clean or dirty washing done in public. We will not take anyone to court, to do so will result in the truth of the illegally gained materials being established in law and revealed in evidence for all.
UEFA have a very fine balancing act to maintain in doing the bidding of the likes of La Liga president and those paragons of fiduciary and sporting ethics in Italy. Action in their case against us for allegations made by DS I suspect will undoubtedly result in the club challenging the whole validity of FFP. I currently believe our original punishment prevents them revisiting the events of 2014 and before therefore making 90% of the matters for consideration in DS irrelevant.
It will eventually disappear like a fart in the wind and wankers like Syed will harp on about some other sanctimonious shite to bore us all with. He should fuck off and stick to table tennis the cheating twat.

Syed is getting twatted all over Twitter - someone dug up an article for comparison where he defended Team Sky and the doping allegations even in the face of strong evidence. And of course Syed himself was guilty of cheating at table tennis
Yeah, HowieHok knocked that one out of the park.

Yep and in 2002 Lyon were happily accepted as members despite huge amounts of owner investment as they weren't threatening anyone's CL spot.

That's because the history of heavy football investment reads as follows:

1870-2008 - absolutely fine and dandy, no problem at all.
2008 - 2014 - disgraceful, shocking, must be stopped.
2014- date - absolutely fine and dandy and no problem at all, except in a couple of cases where it should be stopped.

There is a guy called Nicholas here is his twitter https://twitter.com/NcGeehan
Who is a news reporter about human rights issues in the middle east.
When you look on his twitter account , its has suspiciously many Manchester City
storys. I will bet anybody he is paid from someone to trash talk City owners.
You dont have to be special list in human rights issues to think that City owners
are the biggest human rights problem. I just find this very suspicious ......

Human Rights Watch bloke. Yes, he's a regular.

And it literally reads like that as we threatened a G14 club's CL place in their minds.
It changed again in 2014 as other G14 clubs were struggling to qualify under FFPR and UEFA have little interest in coming after us now as we're a bigger global draw than the likes of Spurs and Chelsea these days.

And entirely balanced:

Fucking hope so, I'd love it if a Saudi/UAE military coalition carpet bombed UEFA headquarters. Could make the atmosphere in the executive box on CL nights a little tense though, although I'm sure we'd provide specialist seating for the amputees and have a little memorial for those lost.

It annoys me that so many Blue Mooners think that City are absolute bobbins when it comes to "keeping their powder dry" and waiting for the right moment to unleash some real shit,on those who continually set out to tarnish our name.
Spot on with all you have written nmc.
