When what you care for is under attack you circle the wagons. You develop a siege mentality.

I trust the owners of our club.

I trust the management of our club.

I think it's time for us fans to crank up the atmosphere, starting today. Focus on what we as fans can do, and trust our good people at the club to fend off our accusers.
Yes. I'll be there too. However this is a media-fuelled frenzy. They own the papers, they are the majority, we are owned by a wealthy Arab successfully portrayed as a black-hearted despot hands dripping in oil. The propaganda war was fought long ago and lost because we live in a divided world where the colour of your money matters.

A rousing ten minute rendition of “we fight to the end” should lift things

Obviously understand your concerns. But I’d put a little more faith in our owners.
I doubt they’ve invested over a £1bn to just walk away.
I understand the concerns over social media, but thanks to many a fucking loon, accumulating in the election of Donald fucking Trump most people are beginning to consider internet ranters nut jobs.

Regards actual possibility of punishment, A, we’ve already been punished. B, if they’re looking for different avenues to punish us, AC Milan failed miserably and nothing happened.

We’ve basically been accused of breaking rules that don’t exist anymore. Based on emails hacked by a criminal.

You can bet your life, ADUG will not take this lying down and UEFA will not want that fight.

I fully expect UEFA o cover their own arses by saying something like ‘after recent investigations, we find Manchester City have complied with our rules. However we are concerned with issues surrounding related party investment, but due to privacy laws we are unable to confirm any wrong doing. We have warned Manchester City that all future deals will be subject to investigation.’

Here’s hoping!
I like the cut of you're jib.

The game is up. Doesn't matter what we do now.

England's three biggest football club fanbases will be mobilised against us with a barrage of claims. They will be whipped up and cajoled by key people in the media. UEFA and the Premier League have broken. We'll be left with an emasculated football club when this done. That is how politics works in this country now. Now you know what it is like to be a 2nd class citizen in this country.

The facts do not matter. This is the era of social media. We have been set up as the guilty party and they are cleaning up the game. In reality it is the other way around.

I'm not giving up of course. I've endured worse as a City fan. But I know what is coming.

I just hope that when they are finished with us I still have a football club left to support. It would not surprise me at all that our officials etc will be disqualified from football. To make this work they have to drag us through the mud and they will. The process started a decade ago, but almost overnight we were hijacked and I never saw it coming.

I'm like you all. I was there at all our darkest and greatest moments over the last 40 years but it feels like its coming to an end. How can we go on beyond this when the game will no longer feel fair, and yet I feel we are obliged to otherwise we are broken and the past meant nothing. It does. Dickov scoring that goal, it meant something.

Apologies for posting this. I've just let the nonsense flow but I am sickened with the football authorities.

Of course I am going to the game later today as I always have. And I always will. I don't know how I will feel after the game. Hopefully my determination will be doubled and my love for City will be redoubled, but this morning I am tired.

The worst thing about this all is that we will be painted as the villain when in truth Manchester city represent the best in football in so many ways but how do you deal with these preachers in the press and this social media world we live in. The witch-hunt nears its conclusion. The witch is being dragged to the water. It does not give up on life as it is dragged to the water but it feels very angry indeed.

We are owned by an Arab. Now you are all metaphorically Arab and you will feel injustice. it is about to be served.

Apologies for the heart-felt rant. I'm truly angry and don't know what to do as the wolves close in. Hopefully my team today will bite back, but I fear it's temporary.

Something has to be done boys. I don't know what it is but we can't allow this club of ours that we have loved all our lives to be treated like this. What is to be Done?

Please tell me you’re taking the piss Marvin! People expect defeatist shit from me, but if you’re seeing the writing on the wall then we’ve truly fucking had it! For what it’s worth, taking the piss or not, your sentiment mirrors my own. There are plenty of people on here saying we haven’t actually broken any laws and that UEFA will be toothless in the face of our sponsors’ denials, and that CAS will moderate any overzealous sentencing, and so forth, but truthfully who will want to carry a torch for us and stand up to the cartel, once social media has spread its demonising word. One look at Trump in the White House proves that lies can carry any day. If I were our owners, I’d pull funding from the various Western institutions they support, cosy on up to Putin, and let Merkel and the Maybot know the reason why. Won’t happen of course, but the thought is comforting

Too much at our door now and politics is very powerful. We are owned by a wealthy Arab who is viewed by he world as a Despot. That is the background. They will just make it up as they go along. This has been years in the planning but no one knew how the end-game would happen.

Why is it when the news broke about us being investigated, the same day, apparently Pep is going to Juve haha!
It’s quite laughable really. And when you read these articles, they try and make you thing City are ruined, their domination is over. BOLLOCKS!!

I am not giving up but I am just wearily recognising that we are about to go through another episode of Mancester City just when we should be fighting for the quadruple (dare we mention it) and it annoys me. I am forever penning these sorts of comments. But usually when my hand hovers over enter I delete it all and a second alter its phew, that was close, but now why refrain. We're being done, and we know we're going to get beat up

Maybe I'm getting this wrong here.but the powers that be ie uefa,FIFA and the fa find it totally acceptable for a club to be millions in debt and have owners that use that club as a cash cow and bleed it dry every year...have clubs bailed out by there own governments and dont need to pay a penny back is deemed acceptable but a club that don't owe a penny to anyone and has an owner that is willing to throw his own money into his own club without wanting to take it back at anytime and build facilities that cannot be touched in anyway shape or form in world football is deemed totally wrong immoral and unacceptable...if so stop the world I want to get off

Amongst all of that I still want to kick fuck out of Simon Stone.
How this twat hasn't been banned by the club I'm fucked if I know, every single press conference he starts with a negative slant, everything he puts out on social media is a put down of our club yet every week the obnoxious little turd is there front and centre.

Get a grip you're a grown man
You're last few posts are doing, what are enemies are trying to do.
They are trying to destabilise and divide us, don't fall for it.
Don't feed them with weaknesses, they will thrive on it.
Let's see what they've got and if they come up with anything, we will deal with it.
We've had worse things than this happen to us if you've been watching for 40 years
Feck them all because we ain't going away

I know there are several people who know exactly what we are accused of and exactly what our position is.

Is it possible to get a page link in the thread title so someone like me can see the best summary?

From reading about this previously I believe that UEFA changed the goal posts on FFP which meant we were punished and that whatever City did (relating to these hacked emails) wouldn't impact on the fact we missed the target and were fined.

So I guess false reporting could carry additional punishment, if it is true, but that is all they can get us for. Surely the hacked emails are inadmissable anyway? I would imagine the club would continue to work with UEFA even if it meant another fine. But anything like a ban from Europe would be fought through the courts and with our legal might, UEFA would end up embarrassed.

Jesus, I wouldn't want to take you to war mate! Chin up, fuck those corrupt bastards and the sensationalist bollocks peddled by the media to sell their shit. We have done no wrong, we'll blow these corrupt fuckers away and come out even stronger for it. It's the last throes of an organisation that tried and failed to stop us and will fail again. Rags, UEFA, media, all corrupt and biased to the core. This will out in courts with a lot more power than some jumped up little tossers in football boardrooms still licking Ferguson and Platini's arses. City will win this and make these tossers look very, very foolish.

You see, I take a totally different view.

What if they do get their way? If they did elimate the strongest contender out there.

Where’s the competition? You need competition for the game to thrive.

UEFA have to act, that tin pot disgraced rag have made it impossible for them not to.
But European football is on its knees, it’s desperately fighting against a World league. Will it want to fight us?

Now come on Marv, turn that frown upside down and have trust in the club. They feel confident this is an opportunity to clear our name. I do too. I think we’ll be cleared of the allegations, weather that’s UEFA covering their arses, UEFA shit scared of the fight or we’ve done nothing wrong. I’m not that arsed.

Yes, they’ll be desperate nutters on line saying we’ve bribed UEFA, or we’ve bought this or that. But who cares.

For my money, if UEFA wanted to take us out, they’d have done it in 2014, it would have been so much easier than now.
We’re too big now. Too strong, too important to advertising revenues. We have star players, thee stellar manager. If we win the thing this year. It will be impossible to ban us.

The time to stop us has passed in my opinion.
They need to embrace us, perhaps paint us as the baddies. Every story needs a baddy.
It’s all about revenues. We are now vital to revenues.

Maybe I'm just a contrary bugger but all this just makes me prouder of the club.

The thought of being a supporter of clubs like Liverpool, United or Arsenal is anathema to me. Herd mentality, piggy-backing vicarious success as compensation for personal inadequacy, yuk !

And the fact that we've given them nightmares for ten years, the Aguero m
oment, the greatest team England has ever seen, a style of play never witnessed before in English football revolutionising the game, if I was a ****, I'd hate it too. But, fuck me, I'm enjoying every second of it.
