“City Matters” fan committee

You do realise I can't see your lips?

Do you not think that all those at the top attend all cup games?

If nothing is decided why did you state 6 weeks ago

Maybe stating things as fact such as away points are going, and then saying nothing is decided is the problem?
It’s two completely different subjects. One is about short term actions we’ve asked for around away ticket allocation and the other a longer term look at the ticket points system. On the former we’re waiting for a club decision on Platinum. On the latter, as I said, no discussion has taken place yet.

If you guarantee me a cup of tea and a chocolate biscuit I’ll come round to yours and explain it in person.;-)

Sorry if I've missed it but if there is a ballot for 18/21 or 18/21 can you tell me which pot the tickets will come from.

They’re coming straight off the top so all three groups take a small hit. However the other measures we’re looking to implement should mean fewer “points whores” buying tickets, which in turn means tickets being available further down the points ladder.

Must be away tickets is the only issue at the moment
The thing is that it’s not. The club were the ones who wanted to talk about it. We've gone along with it as it’s important and needs to be sorted out but I’d say all aspects of the match day experience of the 50k who go to home games is by far the most important thing and that’s what we’ll be trying to focus on going forward.

Here we go again the reps are prepared to take on the points whores in the loyalty system
But stand by and watch while the supporters clubs whores hand out tickets to all and sundry .
I have no problem with the sorting out off any issues but do it across the board

If the home tickets is the most important issue then why not address that and leave the away tickets as they are? Apart from the points horing the away tickets points works pretty well

Spoke to a red who does every away, he has never had to pick up tickets and never been checked, the ones they check he says are the orientals who are happy to pay daft prices, basically it's to stop touting.

One SC chairman in this thread has not only admitted but defended giving tickets to members that would not qualify for tickets on their own points.

This is at least as bad as what the points whores are doing but that seems ok.
Both are depriving loyalty point holders of tickets.
Strange how the reps have seemingly ingnored this fact.

I’ve noticed that we no longer get extra ticket points for buying extra home tickets for friends and family. I know it was only 10 points per ticket but I thought the Club were trying to help to ensure a full stadium.

Because they're completely different issues. The OSC get an allocation of tickets, distribute them to branches and branches decide how to dish these out. It's completely up to the branch how they do it and most do it fairly. You may not like the fact that they get these tickets but they're not depriving others and there's no requirement to give tickets out according to centrally set criteria. If OSC rules said tickets had to go to those with the most points who hadn't got their own tickets then you'd have a good point. But they don't.

"Points whores" buy tickets with no intention of using them and are depriving those further down the queue who are legitimately entitled to them and who would use them.

I know that but I still maintain it is unfair on loyalty point holders.
Why cannot this be looked at?
Everything else seems up for discussion but it appears SC are untouchable.

Do we know why the SC allocation was increased to 20% as this more than anything has reduced the available tickets for those on loyalty points; it certainly wasn't highlighted by the club and diminished the value of paying for Platinum. Guessing the Corporate allocation has increased too!!
