It would be a failure to lose to spurs and fail in the CL yet again. No way of getting around it. Saying they work hard? This isn't a kids team here this is a team stacked with talent and being talked about as a goat PL team.. You can't be thought of like that and lose to spurs.. You just can't. Be no excuse for it

I do know it a City Forum and I don't expect praise. I am just pointing out that you would be naive to underestimate us. We went to Barca this season (who are nearly as good as you) and got the result we needed. it is possible we could do it at new Maine Road.

What need is a goal in the first 10mins or so, and then get another 2 before half time. Then just control the game in the 2nd half. Would take losing tonight. So long as we win on Saturday.

lmao you seem like a very angry little person. Any team can lose to anybody yes but we aren't just any team...we are one of the most talented teams in the world and the favourites for this comp. spurs are team just fighting for top 4...to come up short will say alot about our mental state of mind which isn't good heading into the final push for the PL title.

Think people are just being bullish mate. Spurs are a very good team and the tie is in the balance, as shown by us being only slight favourites with the bookies to go through. However, I think it's good for our fans to be dismissing spurs and being as confident as possible. This will help the atmosphere in my view because we'll all be well up for it knowing we can put a few past you tonight.

Yep. But it works both ways. If you don't get the early goal. You'll start getting that awful silence in grounds when things are not going the home team's way. And the "Pep is useless", "Silva is passed it", "why pick Delph?" comments start.

And then we start to believe. And you start to get anxious. I think the players feel it. And I do think it makes a difference
