Ref indicated the ball had hit Llorente's thigh only - which to be fair to the ref, was a reasonable conclusion to come to given the lousy replay he was shown.

(Not bleating on here cos we shouldn't have let in those goals) It wasnt though, the replay the ref was shown shows his arm taking the impact then the ball hitting his hip.

This is what i dont understand, if it can be seen through a tv watching a tv ? Why cant a ref or analysis team see it too ?

Think it was the correct call. It's unfortunate but the real problem was we were lifeless in the first leg, missed a penalty, and then conceded 3 goals at home. Those were the real issues.

There was an angle that showed it clearly went in off his arm. Why wasn't the ref shown that angle? It was clearly handball by UEFA's own new rules that they've been enforcing everywhere else. I was convinced it'd get ruled out on the replay

Nah mate, var was the reason Laporte over hit a pass and it was the reason Laporte pushed Llorente into the ball and it was VAR’s fault Ederson decided not to save the ball and play with his gloves while it went in, and it was VAR’s fault Aguero didn’t get back onside.

VAR is also at fault for Brexit and Madeleine McCann based on some of these flappers.

No handball imo. Has to be intentional or hand has to be in position like way outside, in the air or similar like Rose penalty, or Kimpembe or even Otamendi vs Schalke.

This was pure unlucky that it hit his arm, then his chest and found the net. Pure fucking unlucky situation except we should have fucking cleared it before it got to him. Why was there enough space between defender and Llorrente for the ball to be able to hit him around his chest? We should have been much closer to him especially given his height.
Awful defensive mistake again. Got punished. Kompany WTF is he doing there? He was front of Llorente he even touched the ball wih his shoulder it should have been a simple header.

Tonight just raises more eyebrows about VAR.

It certainly takes away from the passion and authenticity of football and "being in the moment". Each goal that went in tonight I didn't celebrate instantaneously, except the last one ironically. There's a need now to wait 30 seconds before celebrating which is just plain shit and wrong.

With regards to tonight's decisions, if VAR is anything to go by over the last couple of months with wacky decisions over handballs then Llorente's goal should have been disallowed, consistency and all that?

Could someone clear up our disallowed goal? Does the deflection off Bernardo rule Aguero offside?

VAR got both calls correct I think. If Aguero scored like Llorente did tonight and it got disallowed I'd be furious.
The defending from the corner was horrendous, Nobody marking the best header of a ball on the field, That's what we should be annoyed about.

Overall, The players were outstanding tonight absolutely brilliant, Work, Effort, Commitment is all what all fans crave! We gave that in abundance. Yes we were completely dominant for a large majority of the game tonight and should of went through but hey that's football. We have to pick ourselves up and carry on.
Gutted for the players, They'll be just as gutted as us fans tonight.

One thing I will say is...The team selection and no away goal has come back to haunt us tonight. It's a learning curve...We'll come back stronger next season.
