Why we will win the league!

Im a very positive city fan but i just already feel this is going to be a very bad week ro be a blue. Let's hope im horribly wrong but i just feel it

Win or lose.....
I think you are suffering from a bit of Amazon city documentary episode 7 syndrome. I know there are parallels with last season’s worst week but this is a different season. That game took a lot physically out of spurs, it would have also taken a lot psychologically if that last goal had stood and obviously that would have been better. We are going to beat them tomorrow.

I'm ready for the stretch run. I don't care what anyone says... being now out of CL is a game changer. Since we can't rewrite history... We use this as the kick to play every single game and ball with purpose. Best squad each game grind out the last 5 matches convincingly and take down Watford at Wembley to cap the domestic treble.
That’s the spirit pal.

We'll see what transpires next against Spurs. But we have a big chip on our shoulders - and have more than enough motivation to put in one of our best games of the season.

Moreover, Pep will ensure that our side is fired up.

I think that the league title is rather more likely now that we're - unfortunately - out of the C/L.

Imagine if we only win the shitty league cup.
Amazing isn't it.
Just a decade back I would never have imagined our worst case scenario, while being in the running for everything till the last month, would be to win one trophy more than and finish a gazillion points / goal difference ahead of our friendly local rivals.

A good win tomorrow and the Dippers will know they are in a fight to the death. Wouldn’t surprise me in the least if Cardiff took a point or three off them. We could then afford to maybe not take the three points from the old toilet (would be very nice if we did though!)

Ha ha mate you're spot on, watched a bit of last night. Ive changed my tune and very confident tomorrow and then think Wednesday if you take away the hatred and actually look at the teams, we should win.

Gonna be a class week to be a blue!

Our players have been rotated all season. We have one more week with three games and then it is back to the weekly fixtures. When you look at how many minutes our players have played compared to Liverpool's front three and Van Dijk, you see just why we are still in such a great position. They have a tough CL semi final where they will not see much of the ball. Fatigue physically and mentally will play a part.

We need to give the players our full support, they will be hurting but beating Spurs will be a form of revenge. And then the derby needs no build up.

Win our next three league games and we will be top with 2 games to go. Leicester and Brighton for us, Newcastle and Wolves for the dippers. Plus the Barca. There's now no need to play in third gear and save legs. Time to show why we are the best side in the premier league era.

I know it goes against the politically correct view that Liverpool will win on Sunday, but, I do expect Cardiff to put a shift in, and, bearing in mind what terrible luck they've had with decisions and Liverpool having had incredible luck this season to date, maybe the luck table will turn tomorrow. Add to that, Cardiff at least are at home, and Liverpool having had a midweek away on Wednesday, with travelling; Cardiff had an extra day off since they last played, and Liverpool travelling again, perhaps all the stars will align, and Cardiff will get something - they are desperate for something from every game. As the matches run out, they have to go for something, even against the mighty Liverpool.
God knows, I hate the loathsome, red-loving Warnock, but, let's all wish him well this weekend!

When the lesser teams play the top teams they call it “a free hit game”. There’s no free hit games with 4 to go Cardiff have to try get something. Either sit back 11 behind the ball and try get at least a point or go for it for all 3.

Not aimed at you as we're all guilty of talking the dippers down but if we'd been correct about point dropping this season they'd be mid-table.

For the record I also think there could be a twist in the Cardiff game. Think the first 15-20 mins could be crucial,
