It’s also our cup final and we are better.I don't think it will be easy because they will treat it as their Cup Final but if we can't beat this United team we don't deserve the title.
I think they would struggle to flog both for £80m.Probably get about £80mil each for Pogba and De Gea but why anyone would consider buying Lukaku for anything north of £30mil is beyond me
By the time Jones and Smalling finish their contracts they will have been there 10 years. Look no further as to why they are not doing very well. Also, forget Sanchez, Pogba etc these type short time signings started under Ferguson and Moyes eg buying Van Persie and being ticked up by Rooney and his camp for new deals(twice)
Looks great from where I am sitting LOLI think they could do worse than bin that pink shirt. Dont even look like Manchester United.
They look very much like Manchester United.I think they could do worse than bin that pink shirt. Dont even look like Manchester United.
the funny thing is they may finish 6th but sky and BT would have shown more of their games than anybody else ??? and they will make more money from being 6th than liverpool or man city ??? so why do they have to be winners when they have every corner covered with modern football about making more money than the rest
They look very much like Manchester United.
That as well.A washed out red you mean ?
Isn't it just, it's like giving a two year old a packet of razor blades. The very thought of utd board giving ogs 250mil to spend is simply delicious.
What could go wrong? Just like being back at molde, hey oly?
It suits them imo.I think they could do worse than bin that pink shirt. Dont even look like Manchester United.
Reports Mike Phelan will get the DOf role. Absolutely hilarious.
It’s fitting they have a pink shirt, playing like women!
Old bacon will be giving him his Bob Monkhouse style little black book with how to win in the 20th century tips.Reports Mike Phelan will get the DOf role. Absolutely hilarious.
I think a lot of the fans have reconciled themselves to it, but the owners have neither the wherewithal, patience, inclination, nor (most likely) the resources to follow that path, escpecially given that it’s not guaranteed to work.United are trapped by their own folie de grandeur. They need to forget all the shit like "biggest club in the world" and "United way" and go away for two or three years - in effect - not bothering about league position or winning owt, just focusing completely on rebuilding the club from top to bottom. They have got the financial resources, and they have (probably) got some decent lads in the youth team. They need a Director of Football for sure, but that's just a start. The whole set-up in rotten and needs reconstruction. It would probably help if Ferguson and Charlton buggered off, or at least took the Trappist approach for a bit.
The problem is the fans - and quite likely the owners - would not like the consequences of this, because for 3-5 years they would not be able the play the Big I Am and would in effect be settling for a degree of short-term mediocrity.
The other snag is finding the people (Manager and background staff) to execute the rebuild. Very, very tough. Because the guys with the right qualities are few and far between.
